Honestly, I'll believe it when I see it. Cardboard Computer burned all their goodwill years ago, as far as I'm concerned.
I expect any game they make in the future, particularly if it's episodic like this one, will be a hard sell indeed.

The Good Time Garden is short, free and completely hilarious as it's so freaky

Quoting: morbiusLooking forward to trying the new character. Managed to beat act 3 with all three current characters, but I could beat the Corrupt Heart only with Silent, they've made the act 4 a lot harder than it needs to be.I basically gave up on Act 4 entirely. It's honestly not fun, unless you're seriously into optimizing a build specifically for the final boss. So I write it off as optional and don't even bother trying any more.

I assume if you've beat the Act III boss with all three characters already, then you're all set to play the new character right away?
Not that replaying it a time or three would be a hardship, mind you.

Out of that list, I'm mainly waiting for The Pedestrian and Beyond Blue, and looking forward to watching someone else play through Wasteland 3. :D
Not on that list, I'm eagerly anticipating Spiritfarer, Last Moon, and Book of Travels, all of which I hope come out in 2020. And of course Imposter Factory, because like I'm not gonna jump on anything made by Freebird Games. Don't be silly.

I'm bad with favourites, but I played these quite a lot this year:
ISLANDERS
Slay the Spire
Dicey Dungeons
A Short Hike (well, enough to finish it and get almost all the things)
Monster Sanctuary (demo)
Plus a bunch of games from previous years that are new to me, which is the important part.

You can now take your collected monsters online for PvP duels in Monster Sanctuary

I don't really care for PvP so this isn't a selling point for me at all, but from what I saw in the demo it's a really great game otherwise and I want it.
Chooseco are getting indie games using 'choose your own adventure' taken down on itch.io

As mentioned earlier, they are notably litigious, suing Chrysler for an ad campaign whose tagline was "Choose Your Adventure" (noting they didn't even use the whole phrase) and Netflix over an interactive Black Mirror film.

Quoting: uglyTheir mark was registered in 2003 (they might have earlier registrations, but I didn't check). So, a good question would be whether Choose Your Own Adventure was being used to describe video games by other people prior to 2003. Just because they had a Choose Your Own Adventure mark for books in the 80s, doesn't automatically give them the rights to the mark for video games. One point here, Chooseco didn't exist in the 80s. The books at that time were published by Bantam Books, who would have held copyright and any trademarks that were registered on the line. Chooseco wasn't founded until 2003 as a vehicle for the author and his wife to re-publish the old books and create new material.

I'm planning to get Spiritfarer when it comes out, so I'll hold off on the demo. Seriously looking forward to it though.
The Humble Paradox Management Bundle just launched, great deal for Linux gamers

This one, I'm kind of interested in. Mostly because I've been hanging back from getting Cities: Skylines for a really long time now.
The question is, are these the better DLC for it? Or would I need more for a quality experience?
