Find Doom a bit too dark? Doom: The Golden Souls 2 is a free colourful FPS

Does GZDoom have weird controls for everyone, or just me? I still haven't figured out how to aim at something above me, and it seemed to be set up as some sort of weird controller-keyboard hybrid.

I don't think they took people with no modding experience into account.
I think something like this
Haven't done it in a while. Have to try after work.
#gzdoom -file <mod>.pk3
So the only way to do it is via terminal?

The trailer doesn't really make it look like an action-packed thrill ride by any means. Everything seems to move really slowly, but maybe they're just not showing us the really good levels?

Farming sim 'Harvest Life' is now available on Linux

I'm surprised that they lifted almost the exact fishing minigame from Stardew Valley. And the idea of dungeon adventuring in a farming sim.

Quoting: GuestBotanicula IS on Linux. And you even have the Linux version on GOG. :P

I should refrain from buying more games but this was a instant purchase. Plus a dime sent to the EFF and GoL via the affiliate link.

Edit: And after more than 20 minutes of play i haven't heard the narrator save for the intro if that may reassure you.
Ah, right. It's Samarost 3 they decided not to port. My mistake.

It's definitely got an Ankama look about it, something like Botanicula (sadly not ported to Linux). Hopefully the narrator stays out of it and it's a mostly wordless adventure, much like their stuff. Really good price, too.

Quoting: KelsI remember playing this on the SNES back in the day and thinking that it was one of the worst games I'd ever played. I gather there are a few differences between that and the PC version, but I can't imagine it's much less of a chore to play.

People get nostalgic about the weirdest things.
What made it so horrible ?
I was actually curios about it when i saw it.
Obviously it's been a long time and I haven't had any motivation to revisit it, but I remember that it was profoundly bad at giving directions and pretty much all controls were awkward at best. It was also quite happy to kill you outright with little indication of what you did wrong.
