As usual, stats for this bundle can be viewed/compared on my Humble Visualisations page :D

And I'm capturing some hourly data too (this stuff is work in progress though)

I'm in the process of slowly doing a big overhaul which will clean up a lot of the visual issues I've been running into with stuff getting crowded up >_<

If you want to talk about getting shafted, look at the IndieRoyale bundles with no Linux titles rather than this one :/

Great to hear that the campaign was a success, and it's nice to know that GOL's coverage had an impact :)
Steam Closed Beta Now Live!

For anybody who's poking around with a distro other than Ubuntu, I'm trying to keep a current list maintained here. So far, people have reported Fedora, Arch, Gentoo, Mint, OpenSUSE, and a couple of flavours of Debian, along with a nice range of WMs/DEs.

Quoting: "Anon, post: 6260"All the games have the binaries, but only for the beta-testers. KF is on Linux, TF2 is on Linux and CKII is on Linux, but only for the lucky 1000 (and UDS attendees). This isn't the case. Everything that you already own that has Linux listed under "validoslist" in its CDR will show up in your games list, but only games that appear here actually have published content, even for beta participants (so, for example, Rochard appears in everybody who has it's game list, but installing it only creates an empty folder).

Quoting: "Bumadar, post: 6096, member: 93"why I kept it at allegedly :) what I could find is that is the 2mil is reached on the crowd funding then the private investors would kick in, not the amount though, but seen that number fly on the forums.Ah. I'd take the speculation of fans on forums for detail on those kinds of numbers very lightly.

Do you have a source for the private investment stuff? I haven't been able to find any information on that at all.
Apparently they launched a Kickstarter campaign in response to fan requests after their own site died under unanticipated traffic (some people also expressed preference for Kickstarter as a payment method as funds aren't drawn until the campaign is over, and some people prefer to only give their credit card details, etc. to Kickstarter).

Quoting: "Bumadar, post: 6094, member: 93"to be honest I am a bit dubious about this one, it allegedly got 20 million in private funding, saying they would not do one a few days later they had a kickstarter where it took 872k, which was 372k more then needed, it added stretch goals like a repair robot which I think are just silly stretch goals, same goes for the stretch goals on this crowd funding...

Quoting: "Bumadar, post: 6094, member: 93"you gone get cockpit decorations...From what I understand, this stretch goal represents ship interior customisation in general rather than just "bobbleheads".
Quoting: "Bumadar, post: 6094, member: 93"I will sit this one out, if it comes out for Linux and it's any good I will line up to buy it, but I feel a bit iffy about funding it.Fair enough. Ultimately, whether it makes it to Linux or not will depend on Crytek rather than these guys, though I imagine that highlighting Linux demand in this survey (which you don't need to be a supporter to vote in) would be nice even if it's only to remind the Star Citizen community that people care about it.

Steam CDR Recap

That search includes stuff that doesn't have Linux listed in the "validoslist" property, and seems to include a lot of dedicated servers (rather than clients). OB stands for Orange Box, and in this case refers to the Portal/TF2 era Source engine multiplayer components.
I purposefully combined/truncated multiple CDRs that referred to the same game from the list in the first post, so it might appear to be short if you've seen the full list ^_^
The Nuclear Dawn CDR you see listed on that page is related to the Nuclear Dawn dedicated server. I know that they are looking into Linux support, but I have no idea how far away that is (hopefully Liam will be able to scrounge up some details :D )

Quoting: "Anon, post: 6101"What kind of threads? What are their titles? One is titled "hello?", which has three or four comments in it, and one is titled "test", and appears to have one comment in it.
Quoting: "Anon, post: 6102"Looking at http://marlamin.com/cdr/search.php?s=linux&searchby=all [External Link] there are a few other things with Linux in them. Any idea what OB could be? Also, Nuclear Dawn?

Steam CDR Recap

Edit: I managed to subscribe to the beta test sub-forum of the official Steam group before it was made invisible. There have been a couple of threads created (not that I can read them), so it looks like they're either giving things a quick test before throwing out beta access, or people have already started to receive invites.

Quoting: "Hamish, post: 6090, member: 6"Well, we know for a fact he is prepping Postal 2 for RWS, but he did seem to be implying that he was working on several different titles, so here is hoping. :DI think there's more than an implication of multiple titles here :D
New games, old games, and tools to support them.

It belongs to a sub that's called "Torchlight 2 Editor Retail", so I imagine there's some mistake there somewhere.
