Keep the game files mate :) At least until you know it runs. If you simply place them where they should be and then initiate a download the EA App, the client will simply find the files. I believe Origin might too, but it's been too long for me to say that confidently.

There's mixed success with it, I know some people cannot get it to work at all, and for some (including me) it just works and does so miles better than Origin. I made a new Wine prefix and installed it using up to date Wine, then Battlefield 4 and 5 installed and played much more smoothly with it. Worth a shot, if you haven't.

My condolences to the developers who had to spend all their money and effort, on bringing their games to this platform which was slated to die after four years just like most Google products. Really really sucks for them honestly.

I only reached the boss in Devil Daggers, never beat it, yet here we are, Sorath manages to rob 100 Norwegian crowns directly out of my bank account. Bravo!

Happily doing what I can for this fundraiser, I still use a virtual machine to use Sony Vegas but keep checking in on Kdenlive now and then to see if it can replace that, something I really hope it will eventually.
