Humble Store has a Square Enix sale with some top Linux games going cheap

Why doesn't Hitman GO show the Tux icon on Humble? I had to make sure before I bought it, but it definitely sports the SteamOS icon in the Steam store. Lara Croft GO was a decent diversion, I'm hoping for more of the same.

I also bought that Deus Ex game everybody used to rave about back when my GPU (and my wallet) were neither able nor willing.

I'm ready when you are, Feral. Shadow of the Tomb Raider is another one I'm excited for.

Is Codemasters against a simultaneous Linux release?
I haven't given up hope yet. Doesn't have to be now, as long as it's coming.

I think you mean Stockholm syndrome. They're our neighbours, but they can keep their icky syndromes.

Quoting: GustyGhostI remember trying this one when it was still called "Leaving Lyndow". An absolutely gorgeous game. It looks like they've added a bunch of new areas since then.
Leaving Lyndow is actually "a short, first-person exploration adventure game, set in the Eastshade universe" to quote their website. The game is still available, but it's only officially supported on Windows and Mac.

Quoting: voyageurAnyway Alt-F11 in my config is windows list popup (and using it in game does not apply fullscreen)
Forcing the window into fullscreen mode through your window manager seems to be the solution anyway. Most window managers have some sort of a shortcut for this. Didn't see anything in the docs [External Link] for Window Maker, so maybe you're out of luck.

Quoting: axredneckAFAIK You can use Wayland under X
edit: GTK3, Mesa, MPV, Retroarch and many other things also require Wayland.
These can use Wayland, but certainly do not require it luckily :)

Installing wayland libraries allows Evoland to start on my plain X11 setup, but then I get the not-fullscreen issue. Pragmatic workaround here: kick wayland libs out and switch to proton for this game (fullscreen without issue)
Is it more pragmatic than hitting Alt+F11?

Quoting: OdisejI am really enjoying this game but I cannot find a solution to making this full screen. Did anyone find a solution to this, F11 does not work for me.
Try Alt+F11. That does the trick for me.

Quoting: morbiusI had a Steam key for Evoland 2 lying around for a long time, got it in some bundle long forgotten. It looked interesting, but the game didn't have a Linux client or work in Proton. Activated it now and got the Legendary Edition for free.
Thanks for the tip. My key apparently came in a bundle called "Humble Bundle's: Best of 2016".

Quoting: tuubiAnyway, the usual solution to work around this is ...
... to turn compositing off. KWin even has hotkey to toggle compositing.
Just turning off the compositor doesn't give you a tear-free, v-synced desktop, so it's not a proper solution.
