Quoting: PhlebiacI bought Haven Moon for something like 0.90€ so the length didn't bother me at all. :DQuoting: tuubiIf you're looking for similar games on Linux, both Quern [External Link] and Haven Moon [External Link] are worth playing.Must agree; both are great, although Haven Moon is way shorter (about 1/7th the play time here).

Quoting: EhvisI don't remember if they're particularly hard, but they do require some thinking and some clues can be easy to miss.Quoting: EikeIt's been ages since I played Myst, but I don't recall it being very difficult. It's follow-up Riven I never managed to finish. Maybe I should give that one a go again. 20 years of experience could lead to new insights :)Quoting: tuubiNot challenging? So it's a modern tribute to Myst for those who didn't actually like the Myst series? :tongue:I tried to express something along these lines but failed, mainly because I didn't actually play Myst. I got the impression that it was hard in some... unpleasant way. So references to Myst are actually putting me off, though I do like hard puzzlers.

Quoting: EikeI haven't played all of them, but some of the criticism is probably deserved and some is just people complaining about the lack of handholding. The Myst idea is to just throw you into a strange world (or several) with alien but logical interconnected puzzles and let you figure out what is going on. There's also some other ideas related to story progression and world building (FMV cutscenes, lots of written lore etc.) that are often associated with Myst, but those are less important for getting labeled a Myst-like.Quoting: tuubiNot challenging? Joking aside: Yes please! First-person puzzlers are one of my favourite genres, and sometimes after a hectic work week a casual challenge is all my pre-fried brain can manage.
EDIT: Bonus points for this:

Yes @Redface, I understood you just fine the first time. My point was that you do not get to redefine what the word "distribution" means. The rest of your argument seems to be that an Ubuntu derivative is based on Ubuntu, which I'm sure everyone understands already.

Quoting: RedfaceWhat Mint does is provide some good desktop environment and some utility programs, but not a complete distribution, they rely on Ubuntu, or Debian for LMDE.Mint is based on Ubuntu just like Manjaro is based on Arch. But all four of these are distributions by definition. Whether they're "complete" enough to pass your purity test doesn't really matter.

Quoting: Liam DaweSure enough, I just tried it again and it works. Same version of the game and nothing changed in my system either. Maybe restarting the itch app did it? Strange...Quoting: tuubiEDIT: Well, it works fine until I try to enable full screen or antialiasing, at which point it crashes to desktop.I had that yesterday, filed a bug report and today it suddenly works <_<

If you don't want to use the itch app, download the yorg-0.11.1-linux_amd64 installer package from https://ya2.itch.io/yorg [External Link] and run it. You'll need to set the executable bit for the file, but itch tells you how on the download page.

Quoting: Fester_MuddWhy cant the creators make a simple click and install package??Installing through the itch app was only a couple of clicks. Seems to work just fine.

I watched Samsai stream the game for an hour and it's definitely going on my wishlist. I'm a sucker for a good first person puzzler.
