Quoting: tuxisagamerDoes this support programming writing macros to the onboard memory of the keyboard or just RGB lighting?

Saving to hardware is supported on certain devices (not my K55 though). So not sure if it is Just the RGB or both.

The Cities: Skylines - Colossal Collection Bundle is up and an awesome deal

Quoting: brokkrWhile I enjoyed the landscape painting, I never really connected with it as a strategy game. Couldn't spot how my choices impacted things - or if they did. Ended up just trying to do pretty towns for a while before giving up.

Same. The game looks great I just didn't have fun playing it.

SimCity 2000 was really fun and I think it was because it wasn't so complicated and you could actually tell what was going on.

Didn't get a survey in desktop mode which is weird because I always get one on new hardware.

Quoting: pbRe Fall Guys: Is it just the fix from ProtonDB comments or something more? Because that fix didn't work for me on two accounts/computers. One is stuck on "loading" and the other has some weird pop-up about missing files and then shuts off.

Same, I tried the fix and got stuck on the "loading" after passing the "start" button and hearing the fireworks.
Same now with GE-proton715.

If verify the game files and it always finds 1 file failed to validate and will be reqauired (a file when downloaded is 144b) can't seem to get past this :/

You have to link your Steam account in Epic Games. If this doesn't work, you have to open the game in Windows to enter your age. Probably the game isn't able to open the age window in proton.

I've linked my account to Steam, removed the prefix and as a last resort I installed Windows and ran it under there. I'm still getting the missing file error and I'm not sure what else to try.

Intel Arc Graphics launches for laptops, desktop GPUs later this year

QuoteWhen it comes to their new Arc Control software though, I doubt that will be supported on Linux, just like the other vendors don't give us their fancy control panels.

Only thing these provide of any value are the game profiles. The way native Linux gaming is going, I doubt it would be worth the effort anyways.

Though, if there are more Native Linux games in the future and larger user base I would like to see that feature brought over to Linux.

Feral Interactive have no plans to update their Linux ports for Steam Deck

Quoting: ShmerlI think Feral are out of porting business, so lack of support is not surprising. What are they doing these days?

They are still porting Warhammer III to Linux. Other than that, they having been mostly porting to iOS. They have done some Switch and Android ports as well.

Lutris 0.5.10 Beta 1 is out with Origin and Ubisoft Connect integration

Quoting: NotGeorgeCostanzaHow does this software compare to Playnite?

Different look and feel between the two.

I'm guessing that wine compatibility takes up a lot of development time and I think that is at least one reason why the UI is basic compared to Playnite.

Both projects have one main developer and Lutris has a larger code base.

For installing and playing games they both do a great job.

Playnite is great because it has a nice Fullscreen mode that you can immerse yourself in and it would be cool if Lutris had that as well.

This feels like deja vu when it comes to DRM. Heard the same thing with Music and Movies and yet if you want to pirate any of those you can.

How many people are out there that want to cheat but have not used the already available Windows and Console cheat services that already exist?
