The month has passed already but anyways, if I am using nvidia open kernel modules should I propriearty or open source GPU driver? Theoritically I should choose open source becuase pretty much every GPU deiver is propriearty firmware + open software stack except on Nvidia open all graphics stack is in the firmware.

Most probably GRUB does the deceyption and GRUB lacks acceleration, (I don't know what exactly it lacks) increasing boot time.

HoI 4. Linux Native was fine except some problems with optimus until I loaded this mod [External Link] and game crashed when starting round after country selection. Mod works fine on Windows, MacOS and Linux+Proton but not native. It was working 3-4 months ago.
I have to stick to Proton now because the problems with optimus are just unresolvable if I use an older version of HoI 4 and launcher starts rendering once I resize it on Proton.
