So I gave it another go: completely broken it appears for me. Oh well, uninstalled, will try it again some other time. I'm having this same bug here which renders it unplayable as you can't even past the tutorial.

Really want to give this a go, but I haven't yet because it's got that cursed word in the tags "rogue" ... but then when reading about nothing mentioned is roguelike or roguelite or whatever. Strange? I suppose I'll have to just try the demo and find out for myself!
Edit: well I never found out if/what the rogue-xyz elements are, because I must be the stupidest human being alive. I got to the tutorial part of the solar system view where I'm suppose to scan some planets / objects, and nothing worked. Or I couldn't figure out how to make it work. It says to left click and right click to do stuff, but it does nothing. So I'm either REALLY dumb, or the demo isn't working?

wow ... this is VERY much appreciated and welcome. The whole steam deck verified is a disaster at present, bordering on completely worthless. Soooo many games get verified that can't run at all then so many others not verified which work totally fine. It's so bad I just completely ignore it and immediately go to the steam discussions and search "deck" to see what people are saying. Crosscode is a perfect example. Runs like a dream on the deck. But not verified.
So this is making good steps to remedy that! I like it.
This also seems like they're inching toward what protondb does. Which I also like!

That price is hilarious.
I mean at first glance I would be hard pressed to tell if this is a joke listing or not ...? Or someone accidentally hit a 0 before posting ...? LOL just absolutely insane otherwise.

I'm playing through Ghostwire Tokyo right now (got it on a huge discount during a steam sale, and am loving it so far!) which has rt, but as with all games I turned it off. When I get updated to this new mesa, I'll turn it on and see how it goes. It's a ue4 game, so I'm not really sure what to expect.

I'm sure they're gonna be so relieved when they make the move fully to wayland to not have to do all this extra work to support both x and it.

this is so wonderful of them to do. I don't really need any of those games but I'm gonna get it anyway. I was so glad to see the news this morning that the murderous roaming squads of masked men are "drawing down" aka leaving town. WOOO!
