Quoting: GerarderloperSo is COSMIC desktop decently different compared to GNOME? because when I see people trying it out I just keep thinking I'm looking at GNOME.It's super different. Old cosmic was just a heavily modified gnome, but this new cosmic is completely custom built in rust from the ground up.

Quoting: scaineI had some time off a couple of weeks ago, and pulled the trigger on Avowed. Absolutely stunning game - like a cross between Skyrim's open world and interesting characters, and Dark Messiah of Might and Magic's visceral combat. The dodge, block, attack almost feels souls-like at times, and some of the fights are just absolutely immense. Incredibly fun game.yay! Glad you're enjoying Avowed. It's sooooooo good. And they just did an enormous update right? I absolutely ADORE the world of Eora and they did a great job with all the lore in this one as well.
Otherwise, just Path of Exile 2 as usual, but the Abyssal League finished a few days ago, and the new Last Druid expansion launches tonight, with a new league kicking off. Can't wait. PoE2 is incredible, I love it.

Absolutely love what System76 is doing with Cosmic! I tried it out a few months ago with my Cachy install, and it definately wasn't ready, still had some major bugs. But I know they've been hard at work with everything so I'm VERY tempted to give it another go. I love that we have a nice modern new DE!

Quoting: notinuseI've been playing Legend of Grimrock 2. I like old-type dungeon crawls similar to Dungeon Master, and Grimrock 2 adds outdoor areas that work better than I expected. Having a lot of fun crawling around the sewers. :smile:This is high on my list! You think it'd be good on the Deck? Or is a mouse keyboard better?

Mostly Outer Worlds 2 ... It's good. Not excellent, not groundbreaking, but it's fun to play. The stealthy sniper build I have going is super fun. I'd say I'm probably 2/3 finished. I'll get it done by the end of the year. Then next I'm REALLY hoping they'll fully release the turn based mode for Pillars of Eternity 1 (currently in beta) so I can play that one. Really looking forward to that.

@numerfolt do what now? Can you link me to some info? Oh it's the hyprland/omarchy toxic communities. I have never been there or spent any time with either, so I have no personal experience but from what I've read: they can F right off and I know for sure I won't be using either ever.

The ultimate crime is how Zazlov (sp?) gets to run one of the biggest, oldest, most storied media business straight into the ground with pure idiocy and incompetence, then get to cash out a GIGANTIC check at the end as a reward.
He should get exactly $0.00 and all of whatever was supposed to go to him should instead go to all the employees of wb who've been royally fucked over throughout the past years with him in charge.
