@soulsource the original was made with their own creation engine and this remaster is made in unreal engine, so ... nope ... mods won't work until they're updated for ue5.

Whoa! I mean from the leaks I was expecting an announcement and all that, but I was NOT expecting a full launch today!!! Damnation ... I really wanna try it but Clair Obscur also comes out in a few days!

Everspace2 is such a wonderful game. I'm not playing it right now, but when this releases I'll for sure pick this dlc up just to support the devs.

Love the studio, love the genre, love the idea of this game SO MUCH, but like @leahi84 I'm just sooooooooooo over anything Star Wars related at all. So, unfortunately, I'll probably pass on this as well for that reason alone.

Wow, that's pretty major! I would have just thought that a bug like that in beta would have been fixed for sure. I suppose not enough people reported it like you said or the reports were just overlooked. I know in my work, if one person reports something I ignore it, if a few people report something, I look into it, if a lot of people report something, EVERYONE looks into it. So in this case, it may just not have been enough reports to deem it worthy?

I absolutely love Art of Rally on my Deck, and seeing as (at least visually) there's a lot of comparisons to be had here, this game is interesting for sure. Seems a lot more arcadey I suppose from the comments? That can be a good thing if done right! Sometimes you just wanna zoom around a track and not worry about braking lol. But unfortunately a TON of the reviews do mention the "terrible" driving mechanics. Ouch.

I do agree I wish it had a demo though. Oh well.

posting this comment from librewolf on f42 right now! I decided for a full wipe/start from scratch since I was having issues with my kde plasma install on f41. I tried plasma edition of 42 thinking it might have fixed my issues but nope, so I decided to go with the regular workstation (gnome) install and it's running nice and smooth with absolutely zero issues thus far. I prefer the plasma de, but that's okay, gnome is fine once I install some extensions and get it customized to my liking.
