Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl gets a massive patch with an AI overhaul and lots of A-Life fixes

110 gb patch. That's just absurd, are you basically just redownloading the entire game?

Also, I have one big question: did they fix the key bindings for kb/m at all? I played at a friends house and was astonished that such a basic functionality was totally broken.

lol I've been 100% linux for years now, on three totally different devices! I play games on:

desktop - at home solo (linux fedora)
htpc - at home with friends (linux popos)
deck - on the go or for retro (linux arch)

this year two games dominated my play:
starfield
rogue trader

I absolutely loved rogue trader, such a damn good game.

System76 release a refreshed Pangolin laptop with AMD Ryzen 8945HS - plus hardware on sale

This looks like a great linux based laptop, but I have to say that if I am ever in the market for a laptop again (unlikely as work provides me one for free) then I would probably go with framework.

As for desktops, I'm seriously considering a system76 for my next one, which will be next year after the radeon 8xxx cards are launched. It'll just depend on price.

Interested to see how the performance of the M class chips are compared to nvidia 4xxx or radeon 7xxx cards. Is there a comparison anywhere?

man alive, they are actually doing big updates! This is great. I will re-add it to my wishlist. I had this on my wishlist forever, but after a long time with no updates, I thought it was a dead project. Hoping it can actually exist EA sometime soon.

New Arc Line is a promising new RPG about the conflict between Magic and Engineering

This is a definite "put on the wishlist, check back in a year" type of game, but the overal concpet and initial game seems great, so will definitely not forget about it.

I'm playing Trudograd right now! And I've had this game on my wishlist since they released an alpha stage demo a while back. Will definitely get this on release.

"finish poe2" .... BAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!! You and I both know there's no such thing LOLOLOL

Interesting that CDPR partnered with a 3rd party to do this update. I wonder why. Maybe they're helping them with other games right now and it was something to fill a short downtime?

I played the game all the way through right before the big huge phantom liberty patch. Apparently it's like an entirely new game after that expansion, so in a few years I'll probably give it another go.

Overall I thought it was a fine game, nothing groundbreaking or memorable, but still fun.

The Talos Principle: Reawakened announced that rebuilds and expands the original in Unreal Engine 5

Quoting: grigiThe original Talos principle doesn't look dated? The art-style it has perfectly fits the game. Why another remake?
Exactly how I feel. This whole remaster thing is getting to absurd satire levels. Sometimes I read these articles and I honestly don't know if they're a joke or not. Talos 1 absolutely 100% needs NO REMASTER. It's just beyond absurd, similar to Horizon Zero Dawn.

just a side note, while my friend and I loved Talos 1, we really couldn't get into Talos 2, the story wasn't as gripping, and interacting with all the other simulation bots was just .... eh, okay I guess. Didn't grip us like the first one did.
