echoing what others have said here: As long as it's more like the 2016 game and not Eternal: bring it on! Eternal was not a Doom game, it was a silly platforming weapon management sim. The devs completely forgot what was fun about Doom when they made that game.
Just keep it simple! This is Doom we're talking about. Does it really need building size mechs? I'm not sure. I'll wait for some more previews to see if this is even interesting to me at all. Time will tell.

Fallout games (like all of them) are incredibly popular.
Dragon Age series.
Deus Ex series.
Far Cry series.
Cyberpunk.
Borderlands.
I could keep going for a very long time.
The reason some devs think everyone loves first person games ........ is because everyone loves first person games. LOL.

Quoting: KimyrielleI mean, you really need to ask that question? ................ Skyrim is one of the most popular and highest selling games .. EVER. In history.Quoting: ArehandoroObsidian are great. I wish they could have stayed independent, though. They were great. Past tense. I loved most games they used to make, but I have zero interest in the games they're making these days. Not sure why some devs think everybody loves first person games. I certainly don't.

It's more like a skyrim game. First person action adventure. Not sure how deep the rpg elements will go, definitely a lot shallower than the top down PoE2 though.
PoE2 was one of my favorite games I played in the past several years. It was SOOO GOOOD. I really hope the eventually do a proper top down sequel with all the deep rpg elements. I loved the entire game.

Quoting: amataiAvowed...probably means Obsidian Entertainment are working on a new one don't you think? They are working on a game in the PoE universe (aowed or something like that) word but not exactly a sequel.

As far as grinding ... maybe? It's an arcade racer, so for me its fun to just turn off my brain and drive a silly car that transforms into a 4wheeler that transforms into a speedboat and crash into stuff and beat opponents. It's silly and ridiculous and fun and I love it.

Quoting: AnzaLooked at the reviews out of curiosity and it's full of microtransactions and grinding. The bundle is actually great deal as it contains the costly DLC, which probably make the game probably much better. I wonder if they're using the bundle to get some positive reviews to balance out the current negative ones.I bought the bundle that contains all the dlc for a HUGE discount some time ago, I think I paid $20 total for it. Played it a bunch and haven't been inundated with in-game dlc or mtx at all. Honestly I don't even know what's the core game or what's the dlc.

Quoting: TimeFreezeI had interest initially when it got announced. Then i saw that it requires a 3rd party: 2k account. And since then its on my ignore list.I honestly don't even remember anything about the 2k account. I guess I signed into it when I initially launched it, but ever since, every time I launch the game it just boots right into it like any other game.

Out of these, I've only played the Lego racing game. It's a perfect little game for the Deck! Runs well, and is very arcadey and fun which is great for short sessions. Definitely recommend.

Poor MSI. I think they at least used to make high quality pc components, but nowadays it just seems like they've completely lost their way. I'm sure some executive somewhere is demanding different markets and blah blah corpospeak, but it's just ......... sad. Definitely diminishes my feelings on the company, and makes me think twice about buying components from them in the future.
They have this idiotic AI powered handheld (what does that even mean?) - oh, but it's still intel. and oh, but it's still windows. Dead before launch.
They somehow have a laptop that's partnered with Mercedes? Do what now? This doesn't even make sense.

Wonderful write up! I had no idea how fully fleshed out this EA would be. Seems crazy that it won't leave EA for another two years, but it certainly seems that they have a good roadmap, so I'll definitely keep an eye on this one.
