Slow down guys, you're going to run out of new customers in a mere 265 years!

D8VK is an in-progress implementation of Direct3D 8 for DXVK

Quoting: KlaasThe list of supported games contains two items that hurt:

1) Red Faction II: What a bland game and horrible sequel to a fun game. The first one isn't without flaws, but it has good moments.

2) GTA 3: I'm still very annoyed with the way re3 was handled – probably only to promote the cheaply made remaster.
Are you by any chance working on a merge request for D8VK where it detects bad games and refuse to run them?

Possibly using AI? (D8VK judges the game and if it's bad it goes Yeah, As If!)

Love the little achievement in the article!

Now, to celebrate with (no lie) cake and a (Steam-ing) cup of tea!

Check out the demo of Full Void, a dystopian cinematic puzzle-platformer

It took me 31 minutes to beat the demo, I died 23 times, or about once every 80 seconds.

The full game might need a higher difficulty level, because that's way above my usual average for platformers...

Sounds like the plot might take a little bit of inspiration from the Discworld book Mort. Not a bad idea at all, so on the wishlist it goes!

2TB, nice! That means I can store eight Call of Duties!

Tea drinkers and hell-raisers!

The VR stuff... Deckard does sound promising. At least if Valve have learned from the Deck and (what not to do) with the Index. Let's hope GoL is on the shortlist for a unit at release time!

The new System Shock remake demo runs surprisingly well on Steam Deck

The combat, especially melee, felt quite poor and hard to judge when you're going to actually hit something.
The original System Shock have the same problem. Not a feature I personally would preserve but I don't work at Nightdive...

I tried out COVEN [External Link]. At first I was all "Another Blood Clone? Witch please..." but it was alright. Not as big budget as Dusk perhaps but still fun. You get to eat corpses (also cheese!), have a lantern hanging from your head?, and there is bullet-time!

Linux native and Deck-ready.

Superfluous Returnz is an unnecessary video game of a useless superhero

Quoting: SalvatosTrivia: The game is made by Simon "Gee" Giraudot, a comic book artist frequently featured by Framasoft, a French FOSS NGO (and probably others) :)
I immediately recognized his style from the video’s thumbnail (the eyes, mainly).
Thank you so much for pointing that out!

There was something very familiar with the style, yes, the eyes! They have that unmistakable Sonic/goggles for eyes- look but I simple couldn't figure out where I had seen it before!

Wishlisted the game!
