Quoting: BeamboomWow I was not aware of that "hidden department"! I wonder what else that slot is intended for?!
Hidden snack compartment? I mean, it heats up, and it looks like it's the perfect size for a pop-tart.

Quoting: Comandante ÑoñardoWhy that name?
Vomitorium is a place for to vomit.
"A vomitorium is a passage situated below or behind a tier of seats in an amphitheatre or a stadium, through which big crowds can exit rapidly at the end of a performance. They can also be pathways for actors to enter and leave stage.[1] The Latin word vomitorium, plural vomitoria, derives from the verb vomō, vomere, "to spew forth"."

Feral no longer porting A Total War Saga: TROY to Linux, citing less demand since Proton

Quoting: GuestI can't remember any native game from the last 4 years that gave me a headache - be it a port from Feral, Unity/UE4 game or a custom engine by some talented indie dev, I had no serious problems whatsoever.
Funny. I have sort of the opposite experience. The last two native games I played didn't even start. But could be played with Proton. Both issues were eventually resolved though. I guess software development will always be difficult...

Anyhow, do what feels best for you! You can always check back on progress later. (But we do need you to leave your badge and gun on Liam's desk on the way out).

Valve talks performance of the Steam Deck, Big Picture UI being replaced and Gamescope

Slightly off topic, but I'm curious about this section on Steamworks [External Link]:

Once you are set up in your Linux environment / developer kit, you will be able to use the provided debugging tools to run game builds through a remote debugger, and profile performance. Access to the tools is still a work-in-progress and this page will be updated with more information in the coming days.
Anyone know what they have planned for profiling? Gpuvis [External Link]?
