Quoting: CJLXSeems so odd that MS will put Minecraft Dungeons on steam but not the main game itself.Let's hope Steam Deck really takes over mainstream scene, to the point ignoring Steam release is simply losing potential money.

Quoting: eldakingEveryone is like "it needs to be really powerful so you can run the latest AAA games on it", and then what are people playing on it? Stardew Valley, Slay the Spire, Binding of Isaac, Hades, Vampire Survivors...The logic is probably something like this:
"Yo, now I can play my triple A games everywhere"
*checks library*
"Hmm.... There are so many indie games I never touch, I guess I'll try them"

Quoting: elmapulhonestly i think they might be losing time on this one, at the same time, their render probably have an better chance to compete against unreal than godot one. There's legit reason for FOSS triple-AAA game engine to exist, such as custom game engine. Out-of-selves game engine might not suitable for everyone use case.
Not to forget, avoiding licensing fees.

Quoting: MayeulCI'd be willing to buy it, but given that this game appeals to children, it should be made available for free on Steam IMO.From the Steam page:
Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?
“SuperTux is 100% free and will always be. The Steam version won't be an exception.”

Nice to see an alternative to Unreal and Unity. I've seen a lot of developer in my country simply cannot afford those two software, while other alternatives are not powerful enough to support their vision.
