Moonlight and Sunshine game and desktop streaming updates out now
19 Oct 2023 at 12:29 am UTC

Yes - I use Sunshine on a headless vm on my home server, can stream to moonlight my LG tv (with ps5 controller working), phone and of course other pcs. great for remote gaming or editing. Better than steam's remote play with the ability for 120hz and desktop use. Highly recommended.

Any word on their antilag / antilag+ feature for linux? potentially sounds like linux may get fsr3 only. haven't tried it but it appears games could be fairly laggy without it.

Quoting: TheRiddickThe DLC has DRM and will prevent you from playing without GOG Galaxy 2.0.

I used a new tool called Comet which worked a few times but now just errors out as the game calls home and fails.

This might be the end of GOG for me.

Quoting: ShmerlSo far I've seen other people also reporting the crash.

ehh very disappointing... I've still had the same issue playing from GOG Galaxy 2.0 w/ the game installed via the app (through Lutris).

Quoting: rustigsmedThis is with Phantom Liberty/new expansion - (2.0 was ok with the exception of Galaxy wanting to continually update it).
Interesting, I'm running it without using Galaxy and using Wine+esync+vkd3d-proton (nothing else like any extra GE patches and etc.).

So I wonder what exactly is causing the difference. Though I'm using Mesa-main and latest vkd3d-proton master (7900 XTX).

So far I've seen other people also reporting the crash.
OK interesting I have gone to launch back in and can't get into the game. So I could initially get in (once) - start a new game commencing at the Expansion, choose new character / background etc. Launch into the world - was working great. I've now had one start into the preload screen and the rest of the attempts not getting anything going. Will report back if I get it going.

Quoting: rustigsmedyeah running well for me Lutris / GOG-Galaxy / GE-Proton8-15 - mesa23.1.7 - although everyone is right with the console buttons - that is annoying. getting good fps 90-100 ultra 6900xt 1440p 5950x no fsr (w/debian VM running in the background).
That's with the new expansion, or just 2.0? 2.0 also was OK for me, before I added Phantom Liberty. That's when it started crashing.

Mesa 23.2 aims for release this week, with a point release next week
26 Sep 2023 at 5:12 am UTC

Quoting: pete910Why bother with a release this week only to release a point next:huh:

Why not wait, incorporate the the patches that would have been in the point release and just do 23.2 ?
to have the release make September rather than Oct?
actually looking forward to this one - I've been too lazy to use mesa-git.
