The Stanley Parable Released For Linux, You Will Play It, You Won’t Play it

Bough it long ago, but it remained in my inventory in case it was never ported (to gift it to someone else). I guess it's time to unpack the gift \o/

Man... I'm back to school tomorrow, it's 21:16 here at the time of writing. I'm not sure if it's a gift after all :D

Edit : my steam inventory seems to be "unavailable for now". I guess lord Gaben has an eye on me, in the end ;)

GOL Asks: What Was Your Favourite Linux Game Release In August?
2 Sep 2015 at 5:24 pm UTC

I must say Terraria - I didn't really buy anything last month, IIRC. The new games would have been great, but I'm on AMD with the open source drivers and an aging graphics card. I am waiting for the OSS drivers (incl. amdgpu) to catch up, as well as vulkan to materialize, to do a full PC upgrade.

Ah, and waiting to finish my studies, I almost forgot it :P I don't really have money to spend on a new rig right now ^^

Quoting: nitroflowWhile watching Xpander's video I did hear engine noise, although very faint and barely audible over the loud music, but still...
Yeah, me too. Isn't it possible to change music level ?

Added -savedirectory parameter to specify your Terraria folder. (By default this is <user directory>/My Games/Terraria)
They don't seem to respect the XDG guidelines (yet) :(

Anyway, I have it in my library, but I couldn't play it yet.

DiRT Showdown Looks Like It's Getting A Linux Release
1 Jul 2015 at 8:02 pm UTC

I played DIRT 2, and I quite enjoyed it (excepted the part that I only had a PC keyboard, so it was really hard ^^)
But looking at this trailer... I don't really like the music, the cars (and their decorations), the trailer is at 720p, and it looks like they haven't even turned AA on for the trailer :-/ Disappointing.
So, let's just wait and see, I look forward to your review, Liam.
