It's too bad Linux from Scratch wasn't on the list. I'm
one of those guys. But I keep Ubuntu around for

I thought they would wait until LLVM 5.0 was released.
I never could compile the 17.2 branch with 4.0.

I tried the saves from Shmerl @43273. And the freeze is happening
for me as well. I last compiled Mesa on Aug. 19th. , for my RX 460.
