I just stepped into the reddit thread concerning this topic.
There was aaronp from nvidia commenting there.

The Witcher 3 didn't come to Linux likely as a result of the user-backlash from The Witcher 2

The windows community is just as vitriolic. I saw this some time ago.
It talks about the 'Mass Effect 3' and the back lash from the community.
It caused valve to rethink HL3 development.

I believe what I'm looking at is a problem
with the shadow maps. If I'm mistaken let me

While they're at it, they could update the copy ofthe std c++ lib
in their runtime. Starting with the bootstrapper That is given
me headaches.

I tried to add the following into the steam launch options but I got a red box saying
it wants 3.3 compat OGL.
MESA_GL_VERSION_OVERRIDE=4.5 MESA_GLSL_VERSION_OVERRIDE=450 %command%

Am I doing it wrong?
