Proton Experimental improves Halo Infinite, Call of Juarez: Gunslinger and more

Quoting: damarrinAt least Call of Juarez is a game from 2007, I'd say the most you could count on back then were two cores.
The game in question is Gunslinger though and that one is from 2013.

I asked the Devs in their Discord on why there is no Linux version yet even though there is one available just not for the Steam version and they said i quote:

the steam linux SDK is like 8 years old
so it's not a simple as just build the linux version, unfortunately
Afterwards i asked if there is a chance that in the future it might get one and they said i quote:

well they have a new one in beta, which they have to pick your game to opt into
for now, it runs great with proton 9 in linux for me

Men of War II will be online-only at launch but an offline mode is in development

Good to hear that they at least will implement an offline mode, but that should have been from the start. Always Online in any game which is not Multiplayer only just sucks.

I will keep the Negative Review. No one can say that Sony wont try that again in the future.

Half-Life remake Black Mesa has a big upgrade with DXVK 2.3.1, optimizations and bug fixes

I said it once and i say it again. Proton is one of the best and worst things that happend to Linux Gaming. Thanks to Proton all the devs just take the lazy route instead of making a Native version. And if a game had a Native version they now want to replace it with Proton.

Fallout 4 is getting a fresh update and will be Steam Deck Verified

I assume none of these updates will come to the GOG version?

Quoting: dziadulewiczPromised Linux port (and a stretch goal) passed in around 1 million IIRC, when?
UE4 Linux ports tend to not perform super well. I feel like proton would just run better anyways, and make it kinda pointless.
Doesn't change the fact that they had it as a stretch goal and that goal was reached. If anyone backed based on that promise, they're entitled to feel disappointed.
Exactly. The Linux-based backers who put thei money where their mouth is have been lied to. Nightdive Studios (or any instance for that matter) shouldn't make promises nor stretch goals that they can't fulfill.
Sadly its nothing new for Nightdive, same happend with System Shock Enhanced Edition & Blood Fresh Supply. Linux & Mac versions got promised and then nothing happend. Not to mention that i'm also still annoyed at them for not releasing the Linux version of Turok 2 on GOG.
