System Shock remake gets a brand new flashy trailer

I'll be surprised if the promised Linux version will actually happen. Would not be the first time that a Linux version gets promised or via milestone [Kickstarter] and then the Devs wont deliver. Especially since we still wait for System Shock Enhanced Edition, and lets be real that will never happen, but hey at least they gave us false hope for that one, same with Blood: Fresh Supply. And Turok 2 on GOG still has not got the Linux version. So yeah i'll be VERY surprised if they actually give us a Linux version.

There are still developers who actually make a native version instead of going the easy Proton route?

Would also like to know if you can just play it as a Solo player without having issues or stuff since it seems to be designed to play with others & if you can play it offline thats especially important.

Quoting: CsokisI don't understand why they still use OpenGL instead of Vulkan?! Why?

Well maybe because there are (probably) still a lot of users who have a GPU which does not support Vulkan? I mean it makes (kinda) sense to rather support an "older" API rather than a "new" one you know the more ppl who can play the game the better. Not like some other games/devs who slap an DX12 requirement on it because screw all of you who only own an DX11 GPU.

Bungie has more to say on Destiny 2 for Steam Deck and it's still a no

Bungie is in the right here. I mean we all know that all the cheaters for every game are Linux users. There is no way that those cheats exists in Windows right? No way that Windows users are cheating they are honest people they are Buying their Operating System not like us scummy Linux users who not only use a Free Operating System but also are using cheats wherever we can because lets just face it we are evil.

Quoting: TimeFreezeCastlevania Anniversary Collection is also working without issues, same with Contra Anniversary Collection.
Is it? When I played these collections (two years ago), they ran terribly. Problems with fullscreen, aspect ratio, wrong button binding, glitchy emulator menu, no hotkeys, encrypted ROM files... I couldn't even quit the game without Alt+F4.

They work as they should. Just with Castlevania Anniversary Collection you have to force quit the game since the Devs didnt implemented an Exit Game option for whatever reasons. So thats an "issue" on Windows as well.
