Quoting: elmapulthe bad news is the rate of growth of this list vs steam game list...The percentage of unrated games will propably keep growing against the number of verified/playable games, thats right, but I wouldn´t use the word "compatible", because most of the unrated games are already running perfectly fine and even a huge chunk of the unsupported games can be played with little-to-no effort or drawbacks.
sure there are a bunch of shovelware on steam but still... the % of compatible games tend to reduce over time.

Looks lovely, but I hope they´re gonna fix that running-animation. Seems like a weird thing to focus on, but somehow it annoys the hell out of me already even in this short video

Quoting: slaapliedjeFriend of mine has recently asked me what I think the greatest CRPG ever made was. I said Ultima IV.I remember playing Ultima IV on C64 and having my brother explain to me, that those bright-green blobs everywhere are NOT poison-swamps as I imagined, but trees and woods. Suddenly it was a whole new world. Good times

Quoting: WorMzyFYI there's a neat easter egg on the anniversary page if you pick up the crowbar at the bottom and use it in a certain way... :DNice catch  Really adds to the nostalgia too, especially with the sounds
Quoting: Luke_NukemBloody hell... I remember being uber excited by Half-Life: Uplink. Really feeling my age now.Back then, Uplink impressed me to no end and made me really exited for the full game, but it still didn´t prepare me for the real impact of Half-Life. I´ve been gaming since the mid 80s starting with C64 and NES and I´ve seen some games do a sudden leap into the next generation of gaming, but Half-Life felt like it skipped a whole generation just like that.

Fun fact:
I just realised how much fun it is to say "Deck OLED" out loud. Much better than Switch OLED.
Now back to pondering if I´m gonna take this upgrade or not...

Steam Deck Preview update has a Unified Refresh Rate and Framerate Limit slider

Options are always nice, but since I run most games at 30 FPS and I´d asume 30hz to have noticable flickering (I´ll have to try that out later today), it wouldn´t be of use to me. Would be nice to have something like 3 tabs for this option to quickly switch to what I need. First tab is the one-bar-solution, second tab the two bars and the third could offer some common "1-click-preset" options like 60/60, 30/60 and 40/40.

Since the last stable update, my power button is showing some strange behaviour. Most times I have to press it 5-10 times to turn the deck on or off.
