100 Steam Deck OLEDs will be given away during The Game Awards 2023

The Game Awards 2023 is approaching and just like last year, they will be hosting a giveaway so you can win! This time it's the Steam Deck OLED for 100 people! Specifically, it's the 1TB model too.

You need to be in a supported country to be in for a chance to win which includes: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Cyprus, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, United Kingdom, and United States. You also need to be at least 18 years old.

When does the giveaway begin?

December 7th, 2023 - 4:30 PM PST / December 8th, 2023 - 12:30 AM UTC.

When does it end?

December 7th, 2023 - 8 PM PST / December 8th, 2023 - 4AM UTC.

Pretty terrible timing for those of us in the UK / EU.

Ah, the flashbacks of not being able to sleep last year, having to sleep with the computer running...

At least I had a chance to enter, but this time, they are using Gleam. Bet they would require connecting every single kind of social media account I don't have and won't register.

Giveaways suck. Expect nothing or be disappointed.

Is it 12:30 or 00:30?

PS. I know that it's 00:30, just triggered by the use of AM with UTC.

UTC uses 24-hour clock.

I will say to my imagery girlfriend this: Me Tarzan you Jane. We participate. We both will be watching the show from the beginning to the end. And if we can't get our Steam Deck, then I shall yell loudly my battle cry and a big group of purple elephants will pay a visit to the Valve's headquarters trampling all the Steam Decks and the employees there. So no-one will get their Decks for a long time!

Ahem I have no desire for a new Steam Deck OLED yet. The old model is enough for me. If I want to have a new one, I will buy it - just to support Valve!
