Quoting: DMGI like strategy games a lot, but after watching reviews, I start thinking, that I will wait a bit before buying. Right now it looks like unfinished game.
Same here. The game is in my wishlist, but no more as reviews are mixed.

Given the price it will be a no go for me. Was rather disappointed with MXGP3.

Valve have one more Steam Play update out before the end of 2018 with 3.16-6

Strange that Proton stable still defaults to 3.7.8 and not to 3.16.4...

For now, the experimental Linux (and Mac) port of ARMA 3 will not see any more updates

I really enjoyed the solo campaign. Was not interested in online playing. But sad news anyway. I hope they won't remove the Linux port.

Grab a glass, the first release candidate for Wine 4.0 is now available

Quoting: DoctorJunglist
Quoting: KimyrielleIt's really amazing how WINE has progressed from "that nerd tool that can make ancient games run on Linux, with a lot of tinkering and a healthy portion of luck" to "will run pretty much anything in Linux, no matter what" in about just one year.

I followed WINE for a long, long time, and I have never considered it an alternative to dual-booting, until about that one year ago when the project seemed to have gone to warp speed all out of a sudden.
Not that I'm trying to undermine Wine 's progress, but it's DXVK that has been the major wine-gaming breakthrough, allowing us to play a lot of the modern titles (and at a lot better performance than wined3d).

I just hope VKD3D makes enough progress to run Cyberpunk 2077 when it releases (knowing CD Projekt, the game is probably going to be DX12 only).

I'm now playing The Witcher 3 via SteamPlay, and Cyberpunk 2077 is the game I'm most eagerly awaiting to play (being a huge fan of CD Project 's games, and the whole cyberpunk genre).
The witcher 3 works with vanilla Wine as well. Only the hair effect is buggy but hardly anyone uses it.

DiRT 4 is officially coming to Linux, port from Feral Interactive

Dunno why they decided to port a game that already works w/ proton. They'd better go for shadow of mordor 2...

Feral Interactive are teasing another Linux port

Game is fixed by now. Cannot say I like it, but well, at least I supported VP.

Bought it, not because I'm interested in the game but because VP ported it.

However the game does not even start for me.

Total War: EMPIRE and Total War: MEDIEVAL II just got Definitive Editions

I'm not a big fan of Total War games although I bought all of them to support Feral.

To me they look pretty much the same as Lords of the Realm 2 with better graphics but I still prefer the latter one.
