A disappointment to see that OOTP wasn't accepted to the list. The company has been supporting Linux for a long time and they are making one of the best manager games available, OOTP16 will be released in March.

Couple of huge games are missing from the list (mentioned in other posts as well):
RPG - Torment: Tides of Numenera [External Link]
Grand strategy - Hearts of Iron IV [External Link]
Manager game - Out of the Park Baseball 16 [External Link]
OOTP-series has long history of Linux ports.

Divinity: Original Sin Is Pushing Ahead For The Linux Release

Linux is going to be treated as second class platform for a while anyway. Consoles are doing very well and Windows 10 + DirectX12 is going to be very strong as well, no doubts. Consoles and Windows has already very good tools and lots of game developers who knows the platforms and APIs very well.
Linux gaming will take but will get eventually get there. Before that we are going to hear lots of criticism about lack of games, performance problems and bad support for gaming peripherals. It will be interesting to see how Linux community is going to handle the criticism.

Quoting: wojtek88Honestly it's hard for me to believe that there are many people working on linux port of this game. It's been already more than half of a year since game was released. And what's important - linux port was anounced "just after Mac version". Mac version was released the same day windows version was released, linux port is not there yet.As they said before they had some big middleware issues on Linux. They are solved now and we will finally get the Linux version. This kind of stuff just happens sometimes. A software issues may slow down the progress a lot.

"The only word we have out of them, is that Linux issues will be sorted in a "future" update."
I'm afraid Linux will stay as a third class citizen for a long time. Especially if the scenario happens where developers makes the games for PlayStation (GNM and GNMX) and Microsoft products (DirectX 12) and other platforms uses wrappers.

Phenom II + Radeon HD 7950.
Runs perfectly smooth on Win7, though (same machine)

Cities: Skylines looks extremely good, can't wait. I hope it is everything Sim City 5 wasn't. Good to see some competition in this genre as well.
Quoting: GuestI’ve already wasted money on Crusader Kings 2 (bad tutorial) and Cities in Motion 2 (broken game), so I’ll be very careful before buying anything published by Paradox from now on.The best way to learn CK2 and other Paradox Development Studios's games is to play them. It takes some time but is super fun to learn and realize new things you are able to do in the game. As already said Youtube videos are great help too. PDS's games are PC games for PC gamers.
Egosoft's X Rebirth Actively Being Ported To Linux

Quoting: LiekkiIf you happen to like the other X games then you might want to pass this one, it is nothing like the other in the series.I don't think being different is a good reason to skip any game without even giving a fair change to game. I personally think that X Rebirth improved many areas in X series and getting rid of S.E.T.A was a huge step forward already. Sure it has still its problems just like most of more complex games (CK2, EU4, etc.), but as we have seen Egosoft is working hard to fix issues and expand the experience.
