ScummVM adds support for Myst in their daily builds

Shouldn't this be part of ResidualVM?

The thing I want most is for them to add support for Discworld Noir, a game that I've only managed to run through a Windows 98 virtual machine pretty badly.

Villagers, a new town-building game released on Linux, some thoughts

Quoting: GuestI could like this one if the campaign is good, but the description I’ve read makes it look like it’s more a tutorial than anything else… I’ll try to find out more.
Played the first two levels, and I'd have to agree that it's fairly tutorial-like. Might get better as it goes on though, since with these games it's usually been the case that the first few levels introduce you to mechanics (Populous and the like).

Villagers, a new town-building game released on Linux, some thoughts

I quite like this game. The negative reviews seem to focus on it being a lot like Banished... Which kind of seems like a moot point since god games have been around forever.

It does have a couple of issues though, like the article says. The main gripe for me is the not being able to zoom while building. All in all though, it's a nice god game / city builder with a very classic feel to it, I'd get it on sale though.

RollerCoaster Tycoon World now planning on Early Access, Linux is not day-1

To be fair, with the feedback it's had, leaving it in EA for some time probably isn't such a bad idea.

Real shame about Linux though, RCT 1 and 2 are among my favourite games ever and having a decent and modern Linux version would have been great. At the moment though, it does appear as if this game will not be decent, nor will it be on Linux.

The newest Worms game Worms W.M.D is confirmed to be coming to Linux

Quoting: LakortaI hope this will have cross-platform multiplayer (unlike Worms Reloaded).
That and controller support, which Clan Wars completely lacked for Linux.

Day of the Tentacle Remastered will not be on Linux at launch

Quoting: Storminator16Also: Double Fine's tweet should have just said "money, money, money, give me your money! You may or may not get an actual game out of us."
Yeah, or: "Despite releasing 13 or so games with plenty of sales we're still desperate for money because we spent it all on tonnes of over-enthusiastic vegan types with nose rings to do our social media. Keep San Francisco edgy by buying our promises - each sale means one item of Urban Outfitters fashionware for our staff."

Sad news Double Fine fans
Most certainly not a DF fan, but I like the old LucasArts games so would pick this up.

.... Buy the pc version now, and when Mac and Linux versions are done you'll get access to them too!
Incidentally, these are the the kinds of reasons why... Even when it comes to platforms they're looking for the next fix of money for something that doesn't exist or isn't finished yet, it's like their crack. I HIGHLY encourage everyone to ignore this suggestion, more so considering there's no date on it .

Also, I do wish they would say Windows and not PC, such an annoying term.
This too.

Hearts of Iron 4 to be released on D-Day

Quoting: Mountain Man
Quoting: chris200x9I hope it has workshop support, the game looks great but it really would be a shame to limit it to World War two.
But that's how Paradox games are, though. Each one focuses on a different period in history. The Hearts of Iron series just happens to focus on World War 2.
The old HOI went on to the cold war though, or the one before that, can't remember. I assume that will be added as DLC.

It's probably my least favourite series because of the military focus, but I'll still pick it up day 1 since I'll get a lot of time out of it, just not as much as the others.
