The Interactive Adventures of Dog Mendonça & Pizzaboy now released

Quoting: rustybroomhandleI noticed the language thing too. It's not about grammar, since there's no issue with that - more a case of nuance. It's not super jarring, but noticeable. I think we'd need to extract some specific examples.
They're mostly literal translations from Argentine spanish. Though they're fine grammatically, they just sound a little awkward at times. I really don't think it detracts from the game much as well since its main attribute is the artwork.

Really need to get round to playing this. Tested it out and really liked the first hour and I'm happy to have backed it, not only for the great game but also for contributing to the development of Godot.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance doesn't look like it will come to Linux any time soon

I came really close to backing this, glad I didn't now.

Promising something like that and not delivering is unacceptable. If a developer tries to port something then does a u-turn (like Republique) then that's fine, no one gave money for that. But people actually paid money expecting to be able to play this and now they can't so a key is as good as junk to them.

If I had backed this, I wouldn't be able to play it since I don't have Windows and don't intend to have it. I'm sure there are plenty of people who are in that situation, or people who perhaps do have Windows but wouldn't have backed it if Linux support wasn't offered. Those people were essentially swindled, even if it was unintentional.

This is still the greatest game of all time, I'm glad CorsixTH exists to keep it alive.

I'd completely forgotten this was coming out on Linux. Nice to be reminded :)

Played a lot of one of the old games years back and enjoyed it, can't remember which it was though.

Quoting: KeyrockAs for The Interactive Adventures of Dog Mendonça & Pizzaboy, I've been playing that for the last few days. It's fairly interesting with a decent sense of humor. The voice acting is hit & miss, some of it is solid, some of it is kind of wooden, but the music is great and the art style is amazing.
I'm trying to get a review for that up when I have time (haven't even had time to play for more than an hour). I agree with the voice acting thing, it's a shame but at least it's there when originally it wasn't going to be since it didn't meet the kickstarter stretch goal.

As for this, thanks for the heads up with the voice acting Flesk. I won't play it until that's there. I just don't think early access and games with stories really mix, you're getting all the spoilers when the game isn't even finished yet and by the time it is at it's best, there's no longer an incentive to play.

I remember using this like 15 years ago. Hasn't really changed a great deal since considering the timespan.

This is a very good idea! Also, if you're self employed and buying things like microphones and graphics cards (things you need for this), you can get VAT returned on those purchases so the donation money should go further.

I wish more developers had this same attitude and outlook on things, it's great!

Same! Looked like just another pixel graphics deal, but I'm sold.
