Quoting: chuzzle44Great review, thanks. I am very reluctant to buy another game with no replay value. I have a couple of those in my library, just sitting there collecting dust. I'm hoping It will be more like Portal 2, which remains entertaining, and not Limbo, which was awesome for the hour or so I played it. While I picked Limbo up for next to nothing in a Humble Bundle, it really isn't worth the full price.I can only speak for myself, but I'm definitely planning on playing this one again. I imagine that on the second playthrough, there's a lot of details you can pick up on (the sort of "ohhh, that makes more sense now" type details) and there were a couple of interesting areas I didn't explore, lots of dialogue and options for that dialogue I missed. In a way, I feel it has more replay value than Portal 2 just because doing all those puzzles again would just be a bit tedious, where as with this you can get a pretty different experience without the frustration.
XCOM 2 is so popular it has beaten the all time peak player count of a number of games

There's ARK: Survival Evolved and that runs pretty badly. Look forward to Street Fighter V (also Unreal 4) :D.

Quoting: BeamboomNo, I did actually mean Unreal 4. Just assumed it was considering how badly it runs and the fact that we're in 2016 :P. Anyway, I hope it gets patched up, would like to play it on max settings some day, considering my rig meets the recommended requirements.Quoting: TheBossIt's actually a heavily modified Unreal 3.He must have meant unreal 3. there's hardly any u4 titles out yet?

Quoting: WorMzyit adds to the sense of desperationExactly, which is kind of what the whole game is about. Also, I find it adds to the difficulty in the sense of forcing the player to make mistakes, instead of using artificial ways like making you miss at point-blank range.

Well TBF, it's a really good game so deserves to be one of the most played. Performance is hideous though, which seems to be the running theme with Unreal 4. I just have everything on minimum and can still enjoy the game a lot, I don't know if it's a huge deal better than the old one though and seems more like a gradual improvement.
One thing I call total BS on about this game is that lots of hysteric gamers have been crying about timed missions. They clearly haven't played it, like only half are timed and there were timed ones in the last game too which seem to have been forgotten for some reason. It's so annoying when this sort of youtube-fueled bandwagon starts because there's too many "youtube celebrities" with not enough talking points to go round, so "react" to bullshit like that because carefully choreographed outrage to an already hysteric audience sells nowadays. I like the timed missions, but then again, I'm rational.

Quoting: Xpanderyeah, performance isnt too great :( game seems good though and its playable, but those heavy drops make it pretty badDude, you should upload your videos as GOL articles. This one and ATS were really good, and timely with the releases as well.
Quoting: Renzatic GearOut of curiosity, you have to play a game for X amount of hours before it's counted as a Linux sale in Steam, correct?Honestly, I have no idea anymore... If you wanted to play it safe, maybe leave it running for two hours on Linux first. That's the time limit for refunds so logic would imply that's when the sales get properly logged. Obviously not 100% though, just (logical) speculation. I'd be interested to hear the FPS comparison though.
I ask because I can jump between Windows and Ubuntu, and make a direct comparison of the performance between the two platforms, but I want to make sure this counts as a Linux purchase before I make the attempt.

I'd be up for it with episodes relating to the kinds of games I like (strategy, point-and-click, simulation and story-rich games). Essentially though anything FPS or sports-related though I'm just going to end up tearing a new one, which could be comical but will probably just cause controversy.
OK with being on mic, but I'd feel a bit weird about the camera.

Crusader Kings II: Conclave expansion now available

EDIT: OK, so even the "hold a grand tournament" decision is missing for me... Essentially all of the mechanics for getting people to like you are either missing or severely reduced.

Quoting: GuestNo idea. It might be different if you start a fresh game, but this is for one I started a while back.Quoting: Segata SanshiroLOL the patch has made the game pretty unplayable. Everyone in the kingdom hates me and without the DLC it seems there's no easy way to get them to like me. Gifts and honorary titles only give half the points as they used to...So Paradox gimps the game to force you to buy the DLCs, or is it an honest bug?

I know I always say this, but they should just hurry up and release Victoria III. I don't care for HoI at all, but I'll probably end up buying it anyway... I swear I give these people half my gaming budget.

Quoting: Mountain ManYou know, one of these days, I'll actually manage to finish a game of Crusader Kings II or Europa Universalis IV before the next major patch is released. Hasn't happened yet, though.Haha same. I still haven't got Horse Lords yet, but this one actually looks a lot more tempting.

Quoting: AnxiousInfusionARK: Survival Evolved devs have also expressed interest in a Vulkan update once UE4 supports it. The Windows build is getting DX12 in a few weeks so it would be nice to keep pace. From what I've seen, it's been "getting DX12 in a few weeks" for a few months now :P. Along with some other bug fixes which always seem to be "a few weeks away" but never get done.
