Just release Victoria III Paradox, then you'll have my undivided attention for the next year or two :D

Sail The Seas In ‘Windward’, Some Thoughts On This Arrrr Game

I played many hours on this, it's a nice little game. It does get a bit boring and repetitive after a while though, adding a story mode of some sort would make me want to play it again.

Very nice to see! I added the game to my wishlist now and will pick it up when I have less of a backlog of games to play :)

BioShock Infinite Patch Solves AMD Processor Lock-ups

That's good news. I was doing the same thing as @Xpander for all the VP ports, but it's nice to see they're fixing these things. Hopefully they'll apply it to Spec Ops as well because it had the same issue.

Quoting: rudeboyskunkEvery month Bundlestars is not included and yet gets added by users as an "other" with different spellings. Can it just be included as a regular option from now on?
Just added it to the August survey.

Quoting: GuestAbout question 12, I wonder how much of those 6% "other" is itch.io…
I'm curious about that too. Itch.io, and to a lesser degree GameJolt, has become really good for DRM free Linux gaming lately. Especially unique indie experiences, though both could benefit from better filtering options.
Thanks guys, just added it to the August survey!

Quoting: RCLPlease add the console question to the next polls as well. This may explain why people did not buy games on PC at all.

You could also add questions like:
- how old is your gaming PC
- is at a laptop or desktop
- do you play with a controller/gamepad or keyboard/mouse
- do you play on TV or a monitor
- do you have more than one display connected to your gaming PC
- do you use a headset or loudspeakers
- do you prefer fullscreen or windowed
- do you prefer multiplayer or single
- do you play offline

These may be actually useful for game developers.
Yes, I've been thinking of adding questions like this for a while. Some of these have appeared as unique questions in the past (I should probably do a recap of the unique questions every 6 months or so) but some of those should probably appear every month.

I'll try and add one or two of these for the August survey. At the same time, I don't want to make the survey REALLY long or people won't bother filling it in, so need to be quite selective.

Quoting: WorMzyLooks like Arch-based distros took quite a hit last month. I wonder what caused that.
Given the significant drop in sample size I would take such shifts with a grain of salt.

Maybe there are just more Arch users on Reddit? :P
Yeah, that's most likely the case. Though I can vouch for plasma 5 being terrible at the moment with proprietary drivers, looks very pretty but that doesn't mean much when there's no window manager.

Yup... I feel like an idiot, I had been meaning to do that but the new survey coincided with some terrible computer problems and I forgot in all the stress. I'll try and remember next month.

Quoting: EikeOh noooo! The link to peek at the intermediate results is gone! :)
Yeah, that was never there to begin with but at one point sort of appeared without me realising for a while. Got rid of it now, figured it might influence results, but also gives people less incentive to look at the results with all the fancy graphs and stuff here ;)
