Already tried it with multicore on and off, but I'll try your other suggestion when I get home tomorrow. Thanks!

Quoting: BlodofferNope. Don't know what could be causing this tbh, I'm using Funtoo with XFCE as my DE, no Pulseaudio but that probably isn't the issue...Quoting: kshadeI've got less than half of what I get on Windows in terms of FPS, and this is true even with low settings. You are probably using Nouveau drivers instead of Nvidia proprietary ones.

Quoting: BlodofferIt didn't really increase fps, but that was already on par with Windows version - if not even better. I think this update mainly addressed input lag issues, which was greatly reduced, I think.I've got less than half of what I get on Windows in terms of FPS, and this is true even with low settings. Same goes for my notebook. Desktop has a GTX 660 and gets over 120 FPS on Windows and around 60 on Linux, Notebook has some mobile Nvidia GPU and gets above 60 in Windows, around 30 on Linux. Is it just newer/better GPUs that get equivalent performance?

The single player is actually fine, and the game runs well, but multiplayer disconnects after a few minutes.

GTA 1 and, especially, 2 weren't serious either, they had lots of dark humor and absurd plot devices.

There’s no buying and selling of equipment which I actually missed while playing it. I don’t think I’m just overlooking a section, it just doesn’t seem to have it.You don't have to buy the starting weapons, but you can sell other stuff [External Link].

It looks like it could be absolutely nauseating to play because of the constant screen turning. Any opinions on that from people who have played it?
