Dying Light: Bad Blood the new standalone game from Techland is currently going to be Windows-only during the Beta period. When I last spoke to Techland, they weren't sure if it will see Linux support later or not.
I would like it to happen. I need it on Linux :). Unfortunately, when browsing some forums, whether it's steam or reddit etc, I see another wave of hate from (angry) Linux community on Techland developers for DL and DI ports...

If these two young Techland developers responsible for the Linux/OpenGL port read this wave of hate, I would not be surprised if they decided to not port it to Linux, same as a CDPR with Witcher 3 ...

Quoting: TheRiddickOn a positive light, there is mention by the developer that they intend to move to Vulkan, supposedly. We will see.
FYI - Vulkan is a great API, but it is not a miracle. There are games where its use will increase performance, but there are also those that will cause performance degradation. The game to Vulkan should be properly designed from scratch. Therefore, using Vulkan today in any game is not the best idea.
So if they trying Vulkan, they just need to make sure it help in current case.

Nice but why they raised the price? Before stock price 19.99$, lowest price on sale 14.99$, until 30 January 2018 when price raised to 29.99$ :/ It is now on sale -25% and cost 22.49$ but this is still bad for us :/

Yes, if it use UE4 engine, then Linux support is possible. Unfortunately, Epic not care too much about Linux version and thanks to this UE4 engine for linux is buggy and lack many features. That's why we not get some games based on ue4.

Quoting: cRaZy-bisCuiTFunny, the artworks look like they got inspired by the Board Game Scythe [External Link]!

If they promise a Linux port and that sounds convincing, I'll most likely beg them!

PS: The board game is complex, but amazing! You CAN NOT only win by fighting usaully.
Because both games is based on 1920+ universe created by Jakub Różalski. You can read more about universe directly from Jakub here. [External Link]

Also on his Facebook you can see more amazing artwoks - not only from 1920+ :)
