It always is.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will get Steam Deck support

Quoting: JarmerI absolutely love the warhammer universe, so this is interesting, BUT ... it looks like this is primarily a multiplayer shooter? Is that right? It constantly mentions pvp and pve on the store page. If so that's fine, and I hope people enjoy it, but not for me. If it has some sort of solo single player campaign I'd be interested for sure. Gives me bigtime old school gears of war vibes.
The Steam page says SP as well as MP.
The first one had both, too.

I've quite enjoyed the game so far and it is one of the few games I own where I like to hunt for achievements. Looking forward to the update.

Claim a free copy of Tropico 4 on GOG during their Back To School Sale

Quoting: hardpenguinGet on that free Tropico 4 right away! 🌴🌴🌴 It is the best Tropico game (although I haven't played 6 yet).
4 is way better IMHO. Everyone should give it a try. It is a good builder with nice humor, cool music and some of the most lovably incompetent characters you could find in a game.

Battlefield 1 gets EA anticheat in September - will be left broken on Steam Deck / Linux

Some of my friends are annoyed that I am always the one going on about how EA is shit and that I won't be playing certain games with them because I refuse to give EA money.
This is why.

What have you been enjoying the most on Steam Deck recently?
I didn't have much time to use it lately, but honestly I still very much just like tinkering with it. Getting games to work is great fun for me, playing them afterwards is a plus.

Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era announced from the developer of Iratus: Lord of the Dead

Quoting: PoliticsOfStarvingDo Ubisoft games still require you run uplay? The last one I played was Far Cry 3 and it was such a pain I just ended up running a pirate version that bypassed uplay instead.
Most of them do.
I've made the mistake of buying a game that requires it once 15 years ago. I am not going to do that again. Useless launcher, pos DRM, horrible software and no support. I ended up having to roll back my windows installation. For all I care the people responsible for it can get struck by lightning while on the loo...

You see Advance Wars, I see Battle Isle. Then again, I might have been heavily shaped by my Amiga 500 back in the day...

Quoting: PhlebiacI picked up God of War for under $17 - I'd been waiting patiently for it to drop below $20. :woot:
Unfortunately this is "sold out" by now.
