Steam Play just got two updates with 4.2-3 and 3.16-9, some great stuff included

I'm not sure when this happened, but Rocksmith 2014 has been a game I've always struggled to get to work with Proton. It worked alright if I just installed Windows Steam with Wine, but Linux Steam and Proton just couldn't launch it for some reason. Today, it works. Some time during the past month, something happened to make this game work, be that Nvidia's drivers, DXVK, Proton or a game update. This is wonderful!

CimerydFor some reason or other, my podcast app can't see the new episodes and insists there are no episodes since 2016. This goes for both the ogg and mp3 link.
What application are you using? The feed is valid and working across three independent checking websites and Thunderbird picks it up fine too. Would like to see so I can find the issue.

Using Pocket Cast for Android. The weird thing is that it correctly sees all the old episodes, just not the new ones.

ET: Legacy, the open source continuation of Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory has a new release out

Sadly I couldn't get it to run last time I tried. Perhaps it's time to try again.

RTCW Multiplayer and Wolfenstein: ET were my domain. When the world was stuck in Counterstrike or consumed with Battlefield 1942, I was wholly immersed in team based FPS where classes mattered and you couldn't win unless you worked as a team to secure an objective.

I'd spend my evenings after school sniping on the beach, waiting with a minigun in the ducts, disarming dynamite, calling airstrikes or reviving a room full of fallen fellows with an adrenaline needle to turn the tides of a skirmish.

I really wish we'd get a proper successor to the game.

A survival game without griefing PVP? I might actually buy this.

CimerydI honestly thought this was dead for a while. I'm a backer, and after four years I'm mildly shocked this is being released. Really glad to see them living up to their promise and vision.

Nice I wonder if they wrote whatever I send them to a star
btw I am a backer too but didnt receive a key yet, did you get one?

Ah, the star thing. Forgot about that, excited to see it.

Apparently they are sending keys by hand, so it could take a day for everyone to get one. If we've waited four years, what's another day?

QuoteThroughout the day we will send you all the keys so that all of you can play. It will be a slow process, as we do it by hand and we want to have control of all the keys so that none are misplaced and to solve possible problems that may occur.

Too bad, guess I'm not re-buying all the Myst games then. Not the end of the world, but I am somewhat disappointed.

Sounds to me like The Novelist. Anyone tried both? How do they compare?
