Microsoft is rumoured to be looking to buy Valve, EA and others

Valve is privately owned and as such is immune to 3rd parties investing in the corporation via stock to manipulate and increase their own profits.

The Valve Ethos and the Microsoft Ethos are fundamentally incompatible.

Anyone who has ever had wealth knows there are MANY MANY MANY things money can't buy. You can't build a house in 1 day by spending extra money. You can't solve world hunger with money. You can't fix the driver and tool-chain game development problems on Linux with money (without also investing the required proportion of time including money to develop said tool-chain.)

All that I learn from these rumors is that Microsoft publicly admits to having a interest in what Steam is doing, which likely confirms my suspicions of Microsoft Shills paroling Steam Community spreading their foolish Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt.

If Steam ever sold I would snapshot every game and pull the fuck out of Steam forever. But since I can't live my life with total pessimism, waiting for people to victimize me constantly, and mount motion sensor machine gun turrets outside my house, I think I will just stay chill and continue to put faith in Gabe Newell loathing Microsoft and him having absolutely no incentive to sell as he already posses all the wealth he could ever want.

Their work methodology seems damned good. I think they will translate their efforts into a epic game. Of course I will keep my optimism in check and hope for the best, I am very stoked they are on Unreal Engine and at their progress and clarity.

If the nudies give you the horn, please ignore TheRiddick's advice and think of something more appropriate.
Certainly not.

I'm just poking at the idea that while the GOL audience might prefer nude female models they might have a drastically different opinion if the post contained nude male characters.

In many cultures it's common to find outright prejudice against nudity while completely accepting deplorable acts of graphic violence. I have no problem with nudity whatsoever, in fact I think the common one-world culture is finally starting to prevail away from our dark age roots.

FFXV.

I have 160 hours in on the Xbox version and the mods on SteamOS would be nuts. FFXV on PC is gonna be a big deal.

Quoting: MintedGamerWow, you would expect developers to be a bit more professional!
Regardless of profession people are always just people. Unfortunately high school drama antics plague all organizations because most people really never grow up andclack good character or morals. Its symbolic of defects in the individual, in this case some ass wintroll shill who wants the Direct X.

Ive sat in board rooms with billion dollar executives and youd be surprised how mindlessly automatonic they are with a mind for only basketball and vacation. Another example of a professional space not reflecting professional expectations.

Its a shame that Liam has encountered this kind of shill developer shitposting something he knows nothing about.

I have no problem ostracizing individuals for their tribalistic narc bullshit attitudes.

Maybe with a proper social response they can pull theur head out of their ass on how they know everything.
