Civilization VI: Rise and Fall Expansion announced and it's massive, to release next year
29 Nov 2017 at 3:01 am UTC

Is there any mechanical advantage to Civ 6 vs 5?

It seems like 5 has advanced tuned mechanics and content whereas 6 is new and full of bugs like no cross platform multiplayer.

Its just that newer isnt always better.

Age of Empires 2 vs 3 are miles apart and 2 dominates 3 in executing play style mechanics flawlessly.

Sometimes a fork should not be a spork and a spoon should just be a soon.

Ark is a nice game yo chill and have late night conversations with you S.O.

Many hours of great conversations were had even despite graphical and loading issues that plague the linux build.

Quoting: brokeassbenDropped $30 on Civ VI last night and already have 12 hours played on it. Might need a break to eat and rest my bloodshot eyes.

Also, why is Gandhi such an ass in this game? Declared war on me for no apparent reason.

GOG adds Linux downloads for retro titles Earthworm Jim 1 & 2
23 Nov 2017 at 5:12 pm UTC

Yes Ill buy it. Especially if it goes to steam.

All it has to do is work well and be easy to install and play.

There are many old titles I would buy dosbox or winewraps of. But the rule of thumb is that if its post 2008 I will only buy native because wine wraps of this category are too unstable -- native or nothing.

I was looking at the atari collection on linux on fanatical yesterdy, theres so many retro collections to buy. I love it.

The Humble Care Package Bundle has a few good Linux games

For a lot of gamers the juice probably isnt worth the squeeze.

For new gamers though its a great kickstart to a Linux Gaming Library.

Are all bundles redeem each key at a time now? I prefer to not even have windows games in my steam library.

SteamOS is still alive with a new Beta, although it's a rather uninteresting one

I expect SteamOS gaming to be very much a "Falcon Punch"

As the toolchain gets really polished development will boom. Mesa, Wine, CLANG, Vulkan, AMD DC, etc...

I just want a zero bullshit linux gaming console.
