Flockers Now Available For Linux, From The Creators Of Worms

LOL, this looks like a very sinister modern replacement for Lemmings almost. Looks fun, though games like this are more android tablet, chilling on the couch games for me these days.

Divinity: Original Sin Still Aims For Linux This Year
21 Sep 2014 at 7:08 pm UTC

Man, I need to get use to playing these "back to the roots" rpg's. I am bouncing between Tropico 5 and Wasteland 2 right now. I never played the OG wasteland or the first few fallouts and the learning curve is VERY steep for wasteland 2 right now for me, to the point I am almost lost. The turn based fighting is killing me (figuratively and litterally(in game) lol). It doesn't hold your hand very much at all in the beginning to help you figure it out.

Shroud of the Avatar: Forsaken Virtues RPG Needs Greenlight Help

Voted! I REALLY like that they are actively working on all platforms at the same time! That's how it should be done. I have great respect for 3rd parties who do ports for studios, but who better to do the work than the people who know it's code best.

Tropico 5 Officially Released For Linux

Ouch, that really sucks about the "older" AMD cpu's. My Phenom II 1090t was a great processor IMO. I only grabbed my FX8350 for the extra cores for compiling Android, and it used the same socket.

SNOW, A Winter Sports Game Shows A Teaser On Linux, Powered By CryEngine
21 Sep 2014 at 4:57 pm UTC

I can't wait to try this out. Graphics look great, and it would probably give me a reason to use my 360 controller. I know they said this would be realistic, but wonder if anyone will make a mod to turn it into something like 1080 snowboarding on n64 ;) Cryengine is mod-able I believe, so that would be FANTASTIC IMO. I use to enjoy the hell out of that game.

Quoting: Segata SanshiroDamn, you got my hopes there :p. seems like a pretty decent site, would be good if they start doing Linux soon.
Yea, sorry about that :S: I got excited too. I like games, but I like to not be broke either, so I am always looking for the best deals possible. That's the first time the Enhanced Steam plugin had led me to that particular site. Knowing that not all of their games are steam keys, and how helpful their customer service was I will still check them out for deals, ill just pay a little more attention now.

Techland Shoot Down Any Hope Of Hellraid & Dying Light On Linux
19 Sep 2014 at 8:52 pm UTC

aww. Well that sucks, I'm extremely interested in the Dying Light game, the gameplay looks fun, and I sure do love bashing in zombie skulls. I've got a couple of friends(win gamers) excited for it too, so I probably have to dual boot to play it since its dx10/11 so wine is out.

Darksiders For Linux Has A Slight Delay As Bugs Are Found
19 Sep 2014 at 8:42 pm UTC

Now this is how you do it. Right the first time. I always say even though some will get upset over a delay, it's nothing compared to EVERYONE being completely pissed at you for releasing a broken one.

Something nice and refreshing after so much bad news this week.

Hey guys DLGamer granted me a refund QUICKLY and without problem, so I give their customer support a HUGE thumbs up! For the future though, they do have steam keys for a lot of things, just make sure on the game page you are looking at that it says DRM: Steam.

Edit* also they just emailed me back
"in the basis of your comments We're going to add Logo Linux For Compatible Game"

I take that to mean they are going to look into getting a linux version up on their site and also start putting a linux logo on linux compatible games from them. So I guess something good came form my whoops! :D
