Quoting: anewsonhere we have that rare breed of gamer that is upset that devs are adding more content haha. I appreciate the mindset; 1.0 used to mean done-point-oh.
Don't get me wrong, more free content is always great, but if you come out of EA is because you've finished the game mechanics.

Quoting: EhvisI guess they got tired of the "early access for a decade" story.
Sounds about right, not cool

Quoting: Dmitri SeletskiGame is playable as is, for many years.
I understand that but it feels dishonest to me, they are not only adding content, they are still changing how the game works.

Quoting: Dmitri SeletskiHere destination is less important than journey. Honestly, no point of waiting for release, jump in and try it! Better yet, do it with your friends.
It'll will have to wait, I didn't like this news. And I'm also alone with this one, my friends don't like games with heavy base building/crafting. Thanks anyway

Why are they leaving early access if they are going to overhaul half of the game and leave the story mode for more than a year down the road? I bought it on sale when they announced the end of early access but now I'm regretting hard, my fault for trusting an early access, again.

Prince of Persia The Lost Crown gets a Steam release in August

Quoting: NarcotixI played it on the Nintendo Switch (not finished yet, but not far from it). It's a pretty good Metroidvania in my opinion. The looks and feels kinda reminded me of Metroid Dread. I'd say it's not as great and complex as Hollow Knight, but pretty much on the same level as the Ori series (at least regarding the level-design/-structure and gameplay-wise). Hope that helps :D

Also: the last PoP I happened to like was Sands of Time on the GameCube - failed to have fun with pretty much every entry in the series since then, except for this one.
If it's on the Ori spectrum, works for me. From your PS I understand that no background from other games is needed, right?

Has anyone tried it? Is a good metroidvania? I've never played a Prince of Persia, not even when it peaked in popularity 20 years ago, but this one being a metroidvania gets my attention.

I've been waiting for this update since the day they announced that previous seasons will be playable with season 5, I completely missed seasons 1 and 3. Time to come back to Hoxxes, too much time without tipping Lloyd.

For Karl! Rock and Stone forever!

What have you been playing recently that you think is worth mentioning? Do you have any issues with the Steam Deck Verified rating on something? Let me know in the comments.
I recently played Borderlands 2 on Steam Deck and it crashed constantly with every Proton version I tried, it's supposed to be verified.
Shouldn't Borderlands 2 be running natively?
It does, with even more crashes.

Besides that, I've been playing Dave the diver on Steam Deck like a mad person, what a wonderful game.
And on my desktop I've been testing LSFG 2.0 with emulators and games capped at 60fps like Dark Souls Remastered and it works like a charm now that it has VRR support and way less artifacts.
