Thank god, I got a 1TB SSD for my laptop and Steam Deck and bought two 16GB memory sticks for my laptop in time before they got expensive. I even bought a lot of other external SSD storage to store my data. I knew this would one day happen. I even already bought my Steam Deck OLED one year earlier. I dreamed about this.

That's why I removed the game from my Steam account 2 years ago, the dev never cared about the first version or making it work on Linux until their sequel.

Now, if I had a spare Steam Deck, I would go for it but don't have the funds for another one right now.I’m always running Preview, but I live dangerously 😎

1. I'm here to explain why they're scrapping the Linux and macOS ports. It all comes down to the GameMaker engine. There are some controller bugs that prevent certain controls from being mapped properly, and unfortunately, this issue has never been resolved. Releasing the game with a Linux port could potentially lead to controller problems. That's why titles like Pizza Tower and Katana Zero don't have a Linux port. The game itself runs on the GameMaker engine. I've talked to several developers who use this engine, and they all agree that the only version without these issues is the older one, which is quite limited and not ideal for advanced gaming unless you're working on 2D flash games.
