I've been playing it a bit recently and have enjoyed it a fair amount. Though I prefer to do team VS bots mode over the competitive matches.

Skyforge MMO May Support Linux In Future
26 Sep 2014 at 3:18 am UTC

From the developer response I highly doubt there will be a linux port ever. He dodged that question completely.

Edit: Looking deeper into the game it seems they made their own in-house engine for this. If they're that competent then if they should ever WANT to port to linux it seems to be something they would be capable of. But doubt they'll want to anytime soon.

Linux Games To Come In 2014, A Look At What Is Ahead

Quoting: neokiva
Quoting: wichaelI've purchased 75GB worth of Linux games in the past couple of months.
REALLY looking forward to CS:GO
I still feel Linux needs a native big name MMO....if there are any out there already I don't know of please let me know.
good luck so far the only mmo's i have found are ever crap or from ages ago, the only mmos i know are eventually coming to linux are star citizen (by the same bloke that did starlancer, freelancer, wingcommander etc), maybe wildstar, maybe archage, there was another one that hasn't released yet i can't remember it's name but it's a space sim where your the captain of a ship. there is warhammer 40k the eternal crusade that's supposed to be an mmo coming to linux, war thunder is supposedly coming.

for me I'm looking forward to icewind dale and buldur's gate enhanced editions, I am also hoping more games like skyrim and dues ex:human revolution or the fable series. (basically all my steam library lol before i switched to linux)
Don't think I've even heard rumors about Wildstar or Archeage coming to linux... have a source on those?

I'm really looking forward to Warhammer 40k eternal crusade. But I think that's not expected out until sometime 2015.

There is also an Indie MMO coming called Shroud of the Avatar which I'm waiting to see if it will live up to the hype. Even though it's Indie it has a pretty big budget with having raised nearly $5 million in crowd funding. So the budgets all there and all that's left to see is whether or not the devs ruined it with incompetence or not. But again, also not expected for release until 2015 I think.

GOL Asks Again: What Have You Been Playing Recently?

Still just Team Fortress 2. There are a lot of "new" games on Linux but there hasn't been any new AAA games for a while and I'm honestly only interested in those because I'm spoiled on their quality. Most of these Indie games flooding the steam store have the kind of 2d graphics and playstyle you'd expect to find back in the 90's and just don't appeal to me.

Waiting on a decent linux AAA MMORPG. Not expecting any until mid 2015 at the earliest though.

Steam Now Has Over 600 Linux Games

There are still very few games on linux I find worth playing though unfortunately. I grew up spoiled on AAA games and unless it's pokemon you probably won't find me playing a 2D game. My most anticipated linux game release is the new Warhammer 40,000 Eternal Eden. MMOFPS FTW.

I prefer analog sticks on my controllers so this is a nice change in my view.
