@Sumero: Thanks for commenting. :)
For mouse controls, I think path prediction would be best, but I realize that it can be very complicated to get right. I.E. left-click and hold and drag the cursor left or right to see where the Trimoeba will go, release when you've drawn up a line to where you want it to go. If the path changes while you walk, make it stop once it strays off the predicted path.
What you suggest might work too, but it's hard to say without having tried it.
For keyboard controls, using WASD for more control over Trimoeba selection and arrow keys to move might be more comfortable. It should at least be possible to flip through them in the opposite order as well.

Which games? I've played a couple of Unity 5 games lately (SquareCells and Kung Fury) that didn't work because of missing or incompatible libraries, but I notified the developers and was able to play them using workarounds in the meantime. I haven't had any technical issues with this one though.

I think I might get Sleepwalker's Journey [External Link]. Not sure if it's any good, but I'm curious about it since I haven't seen it anywhere else.

Quoting: coryrj19951Finally more 3d platformers :DLet us know what you think of it. (Not sure if I can resist the temptation myself for much longer.) We also have Yooka-Laylee, Lobodestroyo and Clive and Wrench to look forward to. The latter looks so much better than it used to now, after the developer got some help with textures for the characters.
Just got FreezeME, now I'm waiting on some PS2 era style platformers (Ratchet and Clank style more than anything :P )

The game itself was likely covered by one of the past Funding Crowd articles, but here's a refresher.Doesn't look like it was. I can't even find it in the crowdfunding wiki muntdefems maintained. They announced Linux support [External Link] one week into the campaign, so that's probably why we missed it.

^ Yes, that is why. That and The Last Shore are my own favorite hidden gems among these, and though neither of them look likely to make it, I'd already written up a draft for The Last Shore. The Derelict developers actually mention Another World (or Out of This World, as they call it) as a source of inspiration, so that's probably why.

Quoting: tuubiThis might be fun, despite the online leaderboards nonsense. I hope you'll cover it again when it's out of EA.Unless something gets in the way, I will.
Quoting: Miqueyecool, thanks for bringing this to my attention. it looks pretty epic!I find the controls to be very responsive and accurate. The only issue I've had with controls is that the camera snags on walls (and sometimes clips through the environment), causing awkward camera angles that sometimes make it difficult to get jumps right. It's something the developer is aware of though, and you can draw the camera in to your shoulder at the press of a button, so it hasn't been a big issue for me.
I love to explore well crafted 3d worlds. hope the controls are tight.

Quoting: GuestDisapointing that it seems to be Steam only. I loved the Hexcells series....Yeah, he has said on Twitter that he only plans to release on Steam this time. :/
