Quoting: KeizgonThe only other game I can think of besides this, without uPlay (granted I don't research too much on them) that would be a treat to port over is South Park Stick of Truth by Obsidian.Don't forget Beyond Good and Evil! It's even on GOG, and I'd love a Linux version of it.

I've had my eye on this since it was released for Windows and I would love to be able to play it on Linux. As far as I know, it uses Unity3D, so a Linux version shouldn't be too hard to make, as long as they've chosen their plugins wisely.
Another of my "most wanted Windows games" from last year, A Story About My Uncle, also recently got a Linux depot, so I hope at least one of them comes out soon, even though I really need to work on reducing my backlog of games.

No problem. I'm very tempted by that tier myself.
I also just got a response to my inquiry about a DRM free version of Pankapu: It's something they're planning, but it will likely come after the Steam release since they want to get the backer exclusive shields and weapons at the 25 € and above tiers out first.

Quoting: ricki42I asked them about it, and they replied that they plan a first round of beta testing with Windows only, and then a second round, which will include Linux and Mac. If all goes according to plan, they should start beta testing this coming spring.Quoting: fleskHere's a new campaign that just launched and looks very interesting:Sorry about the double post, but have they indicated anywhere whether the beta will be on all platforms?

Puzzle Platformer 'Adventures of Shuggy' Released For Linux On Steam

I've made a small update to the article to mention that a DRM free version is now available via the Humble Widget on the developer's website [External Link].
Quoting: pbThis game is pretty sweet. Expected "just" a platformer but got a decent platforming puzzler. Be sure to also play Gateways by the same dev!Gateways is a much better game in my opinion, but I'm enjoying Shuggy too, and I've played well over 3 hours of it already.

I just realized that we forgot several games in the "What Happened?" section. :S:
* The Journey Down [External Link] was funded with an impressive kr 409k SEK total.
* Sol Trader [External Link] barely reached their £10k and was funded.
* We quoted Haque [External Link] developer Kevin Cole in this article, but forgot to mention that his game was funded.
* And finally, Top Secret [External Link] was also funded.
We also briefly mentioned a few other projects, but I don't think we'll make a habit of posting updates for those. With the exception of life-sim RPG Rite of Life [External Link], none of them were funded.

Quoting: muntdefemsExcellent choice of games! I think I'll back a couple of them. Thanks for the feedback. :) The reason why we decided to go with the bullet points is because it's much easier to type up than a second paragraph, and it gets the same information across. Happy to hear that it works from a reader's perspective too. :)
Also, I love the new "quick fact" bullet points, they provide essential information at a glance, in a far more efficient way than before. We should have implemented a long time ago... :P

I played through the Linux beta and didn't encounter any game breaking issues, but I think it's good that they're taking their time with the port. If they're able to iron out some of the most jarring issues that are also known in the Windows and Mac versions, I think that will make the game a much more enjoyable experience on Linux.

Quoting: KelsI hear Hack 'n' Slash has a hell of a difficulty spike at the half-way point, anyone know if that's true?Yeah, that's how I remember it too. The second half is where the hacking mechanics really shine though, so if you enjoy those and have a head for programming, that part is great. Otherwise, that's probably where you give up on the game.
