Quoting: natewardawgI also picked up Chuck's Challenge 3D which looks fun for 75% off too at $0.74, but I'm not sure how good it is yet.

I've played that a lot and I think it's great. The Linux version used to have a lot of bugs but they have all been ironed out as far as I can tell. Hamish wrote an article about it when it launched on Desura a while back.

I have over 100 Linux games on my wishlist. Will probably buy a few games that I've been on the fence about to add to my ever increasing backlog.

I think a lot of people missed out on that one. It's one I consider a "hidden gem" and curate in my group on Steam.

The new store front carousel is a mix of featured and recommended games. Could be that it was a recommendation based on games you've played or wishlisted.

Alternatively it could mean that it's one of the games on the radar that's already confirmed for Mac but not yet for Linux. So either Total War or the LEGO Movie Videogame. I'm personally hoping for the LEGO game.

Quoting: Leftmost CatThough the coloration does appear to be more consistent with a king penguin, it's important to note that the picture above comes up as an image result for both king penguin and emperor penguin when googling.

Notice that the tumblr post doesn't mention it being gaming related at all:

QuoteA clue for what’s in the works at the Source Factory...

Maybe they've started crossbreeding penguins! :O

Species: Aptenodytes forsteri

If you Google "Aptenodytes forsteri Steam", the second hit is this Steam profile. That player only has one game in their account, 7 Days to Die. Feral is porting 7 Days to Die to Linux, confirmed. ;)

Hadn't heard of Bear With Me before but I will definitely check out the demo. It looks a bit similar to Fran Bow stylistically.

I've been burned on Linux stretch goals in the past, so my current stance on them is to hold off pledging until the goal has been reached. Or at least until it's guaranteed to make it with the help of Linux backers. 55% beyond the initial target seems a bit steep though.

Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Confirmed For Linux

Quoting: DonkeyLooking at the Sierra home page, another Aspyr related game might be King's Quest. Could it be that Sierra is a Linux friendly publisher? "Looking forward to serve bad porridge to evil wizards".

Well, the Sierra brand is also owned by Activision and both of these games were mentioned in the press release from Activision in August where they announced that they were giving Sierra a rebirth as an indie developer. The developer of the new King's Quest is The Odd Gentlemen, the developer of the excellent The Misadventures of P. B. Winterbottom and the probably not very good Wayward Manor. Neither of those games are available for Linux, so it's likely they'll need someone to help them out with the Linux version.
