If you Google "Aptenodytes forsteri Steam", the second hit is this Steam profile [External Link]. That player only has one game in their account, 7 Days to Die [External Link]. Feral is porting 7 Days to Die to Linux, confirmed. ;)

Bear With Me - 2D Black & White, Point & Click "Horror" Noire Adventure

Hadn't heard of Bear With Me before but I will definitely check out the demo. It looks a bit similar to Fran Bow [External Link] stylistically.

Pocket Rumble A 2D Fighting Game On Kickstarter

I've been burned on Linux stretch goals in the past, so my current stance on them is to hold off pledging until the goal has been reached. Or at least until it's guaranteed to make it with the help of Linux backers. 55% beyond the initial target seems a bit steep though.

Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Confirmed For Linux

Quoting: DonkeyLooking at the Sierra [External Link] home page, another Aspyr related game might be King's Quest. Could it be that Sierra is a Linux friendly publisher? "Looking forward to serve bad porridge to evil wizards".
Well, the Sierra brand is also owned by Activision and both of these games were mentioned in the press release [External Link] from Activision in August where they announced that they were giving Sierra a rebirth as an indie developer. The developer of the new King's Quest is The Odd Gentlemen, the developer of the excellent The Misadventures of P. B. Winterbottom and the probably not very good Wayward Manor. Neither of those games are available for Linux, so it's likely they'll need someone to help them out with the Linux version.

Daedalic Releases Goodbye Deponia On Linux
18 Nov 2014 at 11:51 pm UTC

The Deponia games are prime examples of great puzzle design in modern games, though I'm not too fond of the stories. The end felt a whole lot more satisfying than that of The Whispered World though. Will definitely give The Dark Eye games a shot when they're ported to Linux.

I didn't realize Munin was published by Daedalic until you pointed it out. I picked that one up in a sale because I thought it looked like a fairly interesting puzzle platformer. I only played a bit of it and found it a bit tedious, but I'll probably give it another shot once I've cleared some more games off my backlog.

Arcen Games Is Making A 4X Strategy Game, To Be Released In Q2 2015
18 Nov 2014 at 9:35 am UTC

Arcen Games has put up a new blog post [External Link] elaborating on the no units concept since a lot of people took that to mean that the game won't have combat.

We got a mention in the latest update from Weather Zen [External Link]. :)

EDIT: Crossing Souls [External Link] looks pretty neat too.

Good suggestions, DrMcCoy. :) We talked about covering That Dragon, Cancer for this instalment but decided to postpone it since it has three weeks left and is definitely going to make it.

I was going to say we covered that one in TFC #38, but yeah, it never actually made it off the drawing board.

EDIT: I suck at editing my own comments. Sorry about the double post.
