I just backed Major Drips but I'm now starting to wonder how legit it really is. The campaign has only 29 backers but has still reached $6K of its $20K funding goal, largely because it has both a $1000 and a $3500 backer. Add that to the fact that it's participating in OUYA's #FreeTheGames fund and it looks a bit sketchy to me.

That looks pretty neat. I really like the look of those platforming elements.

I got on board with Djotun when it hit its Linux stretch goal. I also backed K.O.L.M., Jenny LeClue, Bolt Riley, Kaptain Brawe 2 and A Rite from the Stars, but I'll check out these other campaigns. A shame K.O.L.M. didn't make it.
Jenny LeClue was really a prime example of running a successful Kickstarter campaign. They did so much to keep momentum going during the entire campaign and there are definitely lessons to be learnt from it by others looking to Kickstarter for funding.
I had a look at the Script Kiddies campaign just now and I see they've added this quote from this article to the main page of their campaign:

Everyone: Drop whatever you're playing now and go get the current Humble Flash Bundle! Yes, it only contains one Linux game, but it's definitely the best game* to come out this year!

I completed Back to Bed yesterday. It's a pretty neat puzzle game with a great visual style, but it's a bit short and on the easy side. Still really liked it though, and I don't regret picking it up on release.
I've also played through Dynamite Jack that I got in a bundle ages ago. I'm tempted to call it a hidden gem, only it's more of a hidden passably good game that's good for 15 minute sessions here and there.
Still have to get through Portal 2, but I'm over halfway through and each level have become much more of a time investment, so it has been harder to pick up lately.

I've had it on Steam for a while but haven't played it yet. Not even sure why, other than that I keep confusing it with Super Hexagon, which I'm a lot less interested in.

Good point. Hard to think of many countries outside UK, the US and Canada that has more than a few Linux games. Poland is well represented though, with games like Anomaly: Warzone Earth, Painkiller: Hell & Damnation and The Witcher 2 (if that counts). There's also Dead Island that might come to Linux and kickstarted Superhot that's not out yet.
None of them really my kind of games but I really liked MouseCraft, which is also made by a Polish developer and there's Trauma. There are also a lot of HOG/casual puzzle adventure games from Artifex Mundi (extremely varying in quality) and the free and old (and not very good) Teen Agent if you count ScummVM games.

Canada is a good suggestion. Klei had their newest game Invisible Inc. out in Early Access a couple of days ago, but unfortunately a Linux version won't be available until closer to release.
Sweden might be a good choice too, with games like SteamWorld Dig, The Journey Down, Goat Simulator, Amnesia, Hotline Miami and more.
