Feudal Alloy, a metroidvania action-RPG with robots controlled by fish will support Linux

Well we've had Coyboy Robot Miners & Space Pirates, we've also had Victorian Space Fleets powered by Chickens & Eggs, so why not Goldfish controlled Robot Knights? If they include the soundtrack as a DLC I'll be even happier cause the music in that video ticks all the right boxes for me, I love medieval style music.

I can see they took some inspiration from Zombie Ate My Neighbours. I'd like to see some actual gameplay instead of comedy fake ads though.

Quoting: tuubiThis could be considered a spoiler I guess, but if you read the journals in the game, the cultists do actually want to "burn" everyone who isn't a follower of the goddess with her power. I guess that's not much different from a deadly plague.
Actually I just re-watched the trailers again & I might have been mistaken about the changed storyline, The Mother of Death could still be the same dead thingy from the game. Either way I'm looking forward to it.

Quoting: tuubiI remember the games (I loved the music in TLN2), but the gameplay is very different. :)
Glad I'm not the only one who remembers them from back then, the music was really good, Shadow Tactics is high on my list of games to buy asap.

I finally got round to watching the trailer for the movie yesterday & I wonder why isn't the lunatic cargo cult worshipping an undead Japanese queen/demon/ghost good enough for a movie? It seems to me (from the trailer) they're re-doing parts of the storyline from the second Jolie movie with the illuminati (here called Trinity) wanting to release a deadly plague on the world.

Why change the story from the game that much?

Does this remind anyone else of the old C64 games called The Last Ninja? is anyone else old enough to remember them or have played them back when they were released?

The Humble Classics Return Bundle is a really good deal for Linux gamers

I'll have to sit this one out, one reason I can't go into, but the other reason is I already have everything but Torment in my library.

Quoting: ScooptaI've only ever had one update break the game but yeah...the bugs are not fun.
Then I must just be unlucky as I've had several updates cause me problems, from broken textures including the water, to not being able to play the game at all till the next update.

Anyway that's enough about Ark, this is supposed to be about Rise of The Tomb Raider, does she start with the same skills she has at the end of Tomb Raider? or do we start from scratch?

Quoting: ScooptaYeah and some of the bugs I've seen make me think studio wildcard is just a front for Bethesda XDXD. Oh well. That's just ark. It would be nice if they fixed some stuff instead of adding more content. I like the content but some of the bugs make the game rather frustrating to play at times.
Don't get me wrong, when it works it's a great game & I can lose hours on it, but there are times when it's an adventure all of it's own just getting it to start, it's like they're putting updates out as puzzles with one piece at random that breaks everything & they're not telling us which one it is.

It's a great game, but it could be so much better if they stopped using the Bethesda method.
