Unfortunately, I can't download any more updates on my Deck. Every time I do, I get an Update Error, saying that an error was encountered during the update process. Apparently this has something to do with the 5 GHz band, but I disabled that and it still didn't work. I also tried modifying the UEFI BIOS time and that didn't work either. :(

Glad to hear about more developers' journeys with switching to Godot 4. AFAIK, the project migratory is a bit lacking in most parts since it mostly stopped development after 4.1 released. By that point, developers had either switched to Godot 4 already or stayed with 3.

I'm so glad that someone is trying anee gamepad like operating system for handhelds. It's nice to have alternatives to SteamOS, plus ChimeraOS and HoloISO (which aren't as bleeding edge as this)

Quoting: JarmerWhat exactly is "frame pacing" ...? Is that just referencing lower than expected fps? Or general stuttering like with a lot of unreal engine games? Or some specific technical issue I've never heard of before?Frame pacing is the time taken to generate a new frame.

Has anyone tested this driver to see how well it's doing now? Last I heard, the main developer said that the only game it ran better was A Hat In Time. I'm interested to see if that's changed.

Oh, that's actually really clever. Find an open source engine amd improve its XR implementation. Then you can get feedback on how easy your API is to use AND an example for other closed source engines to look at for their own implementations. Plus, Godot developers get to enjoy the better XR tooling. A win-win!

Out of curiosity, Liam, why are you still using the old Proton logo that you made instead of the official one?

Quoting: scaineI'm sure console owners will still find something to whinge about thoughIn this case, though, it's entirely fair. Console players have to rebuy the game if they bought it in early access. A massive middle finger to anyone that we're supporting the Devs.
