personally I've been using Orion (found in the AUR), there's no ppa for debian/ubuntu yet, AFAIK. Orion is qt5 based but uses mpv as a backend. it has a clean and compact GUI, with one button that expands the labels if needed. it also uses GTK headerbars if you are using GNOME. As well as notifications and such when streamers go online/offline, and login account support.

looking forward to the stream.

nice now they have aveyond 1 thru 4 plus one other which is called Exit Fate for Linux now. interesting JRPG styled games, especially the artwork on aveyond 4 looks really nice. looks like they have put a good bit of effort into making these quite unique.
especially Exit Fate which seems to have more emphasis on story and tactics rather than character development.
to many good games for Linux now. I can't keep up lol. i'll definitely have to check out the Aveyond series over the next few months.

Starbound updated with new fishing feature, collections and a Relocator tool

the fishing is cool, it has physics based on tension in your line. so when you real in the fish you have to pay close attention to the tension on the line.
the relocator is ok, I guess it's good for when you need to move animals and pets around.

funny thing, I've purchased all their Linux ports except Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered and BioShock Infinite (oops), which i'm not that interested in.
but I keep staring at that Homeworld: remastered collection wondering why it's not on Linux yet :'(

great interview, thanks Liam and TTimo. reading the thoughts of what the companies and devs are going through for the porting process is nice to know. This helps give a better overall picture of how things are going with Linux as a gaming platform.

it's quite addicting, I've been playing every day since it was released on linux. i'm up to level 23 pro status already. only downsides are random crashing to the desktop are still present after this update, and I hope a method of assigning controllers is developed. the random crashing is a minor annoyance to me, it loads quick and it never does it in the middle of a match which is good.
I guess they are really starting to push for this to be an esport.
