As for this list of games, I only played Resident Evil 4 Remake and enjoyed it a lot while the rest didn't interest me that much.

Quoting: PoliticsOfStarvingWtf is Armoured Core? Never heard of this series before and suddenly it’s sixth iteration Is the most popular game.Armoured Core is action game involving robots that got its start back in the Playstation 1 days and it has it's fans even though they haven't released a new one in the last 10 years until now. From Software ended up making a lot of games like Elden Ring, Dark Souls 1-3 and Bloodbourne during that time this series was away.

Good thing I still got my PS3 copy of the MGS Legacy Collection to come back to since I didn't think Konami would do a good job on this collection and besides, that collection has more games than this one is offering.

Sorry to sound negative but from the trailer that they showed when it was first released, it looked like something a modder could do without having to shell out money to buy this from Aspyr. I was hoping they would make it look nicer than what was shown and despite being able to buy this at 20% on Steam if you own the originals, I'm going to pass on this since I already own all three of them.
Valve puts the Steam Deck and Dock on sale again, get up to 20% off

Quoting: CharcoAre Valve ever going to address the issues with the official dock? I have to unplug it from the power supply and plug it back in every time to get it to output to my tv. Will this be fixed in SteamOS 3.5?I know what you mean because this happens to me when I try it on my HiSense TV and that's one of the reasons that I don't recommend it to those that ask because unless this gets resolves, it ends up getting more annoying over time when you have to do what you described. Other than that, I love my Steam Deck and use it everyday to play my games

Great writeup, Liam. I never knew Proton was 5 years old today but thanks to that, I can enjoy the many games I have on Steam with the Steam Deck
I remember the times when Linux gaming was not in a great state and reading the article takes me back to the early 2000s, where I was reading a Linux magazine that mentioned about a Linux gaming console that I thought would've been cool if it ever got release. Sadly, it never happened and I did frequent other Linux gaming websites for a time before coming to the realization that it's never going to take any shares away from Windows gaming (which it still hasn't happened but one can only dream). At that point, I just forgotten about it until I bought the Steam Deck and reading that it used Arch Linux for SteamOS made me happy because I love Linux and wanted it to succeed. Overall, I'm happy for Proton's existence and hope it continues to get better and better.
Happy birthday, Proton!

However, if you start at RE7, you'll be given a different story and character that have little to do with the characters from the previous RE series but they do have some tie-in that I won't go into since it would spoil your experience.

Quoting: LinasWhere would one even start though? Just play them in chronological order, or it doesn't matter? Any advice? For someone that's played the series when it was first released back in the PS1 days, I would say start with RE1 since that's where it all begins and after that, you can go in any order after RE1 if you want to know more about the series and its characters. However, get ready for tank control and fixed camera fun because that's pretty much how a lot of RE fans got started in the series.
