I can't wait for the day that the AI bubble bursts so that everyone can go back to enjoying new hardware again without worrying about components. Also, for those that build PCs, it'd be nice to go back to the days where RAM, SSD and other components were affordable instead of the high price markups that we see today.

Happy belated 4th anniversary for the Steam Deck and while the situation is terrible with AI companies sucking up the hardware resources, I hope that the Steam Deck will continue to sell whenever it becomes available again. Still one of the best PC handhelds to this day despite showing it's age.

Quoting: mr-victoryIt'll happen in due time since Sony is already starting to discontinue making Blu-ray machines and others will eventually follow. Before you know it, Blu-Ray & archival disks sill start to go away.Quoting: suchHDDs are getting up there as well. I can only assume FDD is next in line, and punch card users should probably start getting ready.Imagine Blu-Ray & archival disks go out of stock before CPUs or GPUs.
That's not even going into raw materials.

How nice of Nvidia to finally start making a native Linux app for Geforce NOW so that I can get back to playing some of the anticheat games I bought some time ago. Sure, I can use the browser but I rather they make a native version since it seems to run better when I last tried it on the Steam Deck.

I'm currently using CachyOS on my two machines and so far, it's been great and haven't really experienced any problems, even when updating it. I did have a machine that used Bazzite and it was fine for what it is but decided to make that one use Kazeta instead just to mess around with it.

You can never go wrong with a free expansion because if it disappoints, you didn't spend a dime on it to begin with.

Playnite on Linux would be great since there's probably going to be more users that move from Windows to Linux that would like to have this program available because of the many features that they use on it.

For the enterprise/corporate world, any means of not paying someone to do the work that AI can do in a short amount of time is a win in their books.

I've never met a consumer that wanted AI. Ever. The most positive thing I've seen written, or heard said about AI is a disinterested "meh". And yet the enterprise/corporate world seems to be tripping over itself for the tech.@scaine

Bazzite is Fedora based and has a 3.33% share but yeah, it's not anywhere close to the others.

As expected, for Steam it continues to basically be two distros: arch (and derivatives) or ubuntu (and derivatives). Fedora gets in a couple percentage points but nothing huge.@R Daneel Olivaw
